ND is a good team. ND, if health had been maintained, could have been a great team. I think the loss of both principal rush ends -- Traore and Bothelo -- along with the loss of Morrison at CB depletes what otherwise could have been a dominant defense. I think the offense was expected to be a "work in progress" over the course of the season, and I believe that is basically on schedule. Leonard is getting more comfortable and is improving -- I like what we've seen from him recently on RPOs, for example. The OL is growing week-by-week, despite injuries there too. Hopefully TE Evans gets fully healthy, because he can be a major weapon at 100%. And it seems like the WRs, which will probably not be a great group, are improving and can be solid -- which is what ND needs to complement a terrific group of RBs and a dynamic running QB. ND is an interesting team moving toward the playoff. If they make the playoff, they could be dangerous.

I went to the Clemson game, and SH play and body language were horrible. Now, fans have to suffer through RL growing pains. I wonder at times if MF has no decision but to play them since ND spent so much NIL money. It's a weird situation when the fan base is calling for the backup QB.

A team like this Notre Dame team doesn't come along often. You hear the cliché Gamer that can be applied to this team they seem to all be gamers. That has been the mindset since that game two loss to Northern Illinois as they were written off by the sports community. Unheralded players are asked to go when others suffer injury and stand tall. That is what makes Champions, even if they suffer defeat in the National Championship game their heads will be held high remember that and arcus Freeman their coach who instilled that.

All the haters point to is the NIU loss. What about the WINS? No one has more wins against ranked opponents than ND. And here's something that won't show up on stat sheets, but I pray the Selection Committee considers this...Notre Dame has had a comfortable lead to begin the 4th quarter in several of their games and their have pulled the starters out and given the B/U's a chance to play. They could have run up to score on Navy, on Purdue, on Stanford, on Georgia Tech, etc. Even the 2nd or 3rd team has forgone chances to score late in those games when they could have, just to get the game over with.

They should have an independent bowl...or an extra game to make up for it if that's the conference they're in... And only hurts them.... And each team they do play ... Independently have top either players.. offenses defenses...or certain aspects of when ND plays them .. for the most part .
