I enjoy your enduro training videos a lot. After 40 plus years of road riding without wheelies I went into the woods on 250s 10 years ago. I'm having trouble "dumping" the stock KTM 250 EXC 4stroke clutch for a pivot turn but have done 3 so far. So first thing, on grass I put my knobby rear wheel on, duh. 2nd I try at the base of hill where nobody else can see me. 3rd I adjust the clutch contact spot in and out and like it in and use index and middle fingers. 4th I took off my 14-52 and put on my 13 and it didn't help any, maybe made it harder. Doing this also slid my rear axle backwards, very near the rear of the axle slot. 5th I set my 4 front fork clickers to max. loose to help learn to time the front fork bounce. Would it help to take a link out? Fingers aren't cooperating yet. It's hard, but I'll get it, kind of like I learned to ride a unicycle 5 years ago.

Hi Rich! Your videos are the best. I have a question. Hoy much time do you think you must practice a technique to perfect it?

Any tips for shorter riders 5’9”?
@IRCTireUSAMoto5 жыл бұрын
Technique is key the better balance you have the less chance of dabbing. Now when it comes to a switch back it may sound crazy but the higher you get your front tire in the air the easier it will be for you to reach the ground. There was an Endurocross rider named Jamie Lanza who was around 5'8" and he was a top pro. It's possible for the short guys. Just keep at it.

@@IRCTireUSAMoto as a 5.6 rider I can say 5.8 is not short.

No one mentions being 6’-4” which makes this EASY! Show me a 5’-8” person doing it then I will be impressed
