After upgrading the fuel pump in the tank, we tackle the wiring needed to provide reliable power to these fuel pumps. While your stock wiring may still work, with age things can degrade, so it a popular upgrade to add a dedicated power feed to the fuel pump to ensure you get good power to your system when needed.
This part of the upgrade/modification is not that dificult, however good quality wire and parts are a must here, using cheap cable and components will not serve the purpose intended properly, leading to potential fuel delivery issues. pump failure or even a vehicle electrical fire.
Please remember that your fuel pump is what delivers the required fuel up to your fuel rail and injectors, an improperly installed or set up pump can cause major engine damage. If you are not confident in undertaking this procedure then re would recommend you seem the help of an experienced and trusted rotary specialist in your area.

We are going to show you the steps needed and some tips to help make doing it yourself less hassle.
Tools and Parts You Will Need;
High Quality Wire (preferably not PVC coated, We recommend TXL or Tefzel jacketed wire.
High Quality 4 Pin Automotive Relay and relay base/socket
Open Barrel Splice/Crimps
A Crimp Tool suitable for your choice of splice or crimp
Wire Strippers - We are using Stripmasters
something to cut open the stock harness.
Insulating tape (for the joints) re use and recommend Kapton tape
Cable Ties for securing the cables in place when reinstalling everything
10mm Socket and Ratchet
another 10mm socket as you will lose the first
1 third 10mm socket as you will no doubt miss-place the backup 10mm
ALWAYs DISCONNECT THE BATTERY WHEN WORKING ON VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEMS
