First of all, Lisa you are beautiful both inside and out! I love your hair as it is glorious! I am thinking of letting my silver show and with this pandemic it's been not too hard 😉. I'm so glad you started this channel and although I'm late to finding you I will share! As a side note, my sister owns a fitness studio in Colorado and she drastically had to pivot (as you have too) and started putting her classes on KZbin and doing other virtual classes. It's been a journey and it's been tough but it's allowed her to reach so many more people than she was able to before. She is also 54 and is learning new things about videoing every day! So kudos to you and think...you have reached a whole new audience too. I am here to support you. Btw: I take lysine everyday too and it really works! No more cold sores or if I feel one coming on I double up on the lysine. Truly my go-to! Cheers to you Lisa!

Kyla Stratton Hi Kyla I use Oribe shampoo. I use the moisture control. I also use Costco conditioner in the shower and rinse it out. I know shocking!! But I love it and my hair has stayed healthy for years. When I get out I then use kerastase spray leave in conditioner, pink bottle. I also mask my hair 1-2 xs a week with the kerastase mask. If these items are to costly.... mask with olive oil and for years I used Garnier leave in conditioner , in a pull up top green bottle. I never broke out. I have just been using salon products because I have been allowing my grey hair to grow since November 2018😬🙌🏻🍑

Do you think a leave in conditioner is appropriate for those of us suffering from acne? Also, I'm pregnant right now and afraid to not wear sunscreen every day in effort to ward off melasma... but also wondering if that may be contributing to the crazy breakouts. I have been using Vive Sana sunscreen and Skintegrity Tinted Moisturizer (which isn't really very pigmented at all, but I'm guessing it still falls on your no-no list). Any advice is appreciated... thanks :)
@PeachesSkinCare4 жыл бұрын
TropicalDreamin' hello🍑 I do not think a leave in conditioner is bad. Just be mindful of the one your using and if it breaks you out. If so let’s find another. I love the spray in by Kerastase. Also when possible if your home and always at night where your hair in a bun and off your face. Also wear milk of magnesia to bed. Regarding the sunscreen. I’m very particular about sunscreen so try Elta MD or SunBum mineral in the white bottle. Your pregnant and my belief as well as many holistic practitioners ( it has also been written in the journal of medicine) is that the chemicals can or may get into your blood stream, although the skin does filter everything from your body or most things!! so for now can you just wear a hat? Or do ONLY a ZINC oxide sunscreen. If your worried about pregnancy mask or melasma don’t panic. Wear a hat whenever your outside and start doing baking soda scrubs in the shower and use Acv toner or straight ACV. I’m here for you if you have any issues!!! We got this momma🍑

@@PeachesSkinCare Thank you! I've been going to Peaches in SB for years,.. and did see great results... but with the pregnancy and wearing a mask all the time my acne is at full force and really getting clumped up and spreading all over my cheeks and jawline, so I've been tempted into Skintegrity tinted moisturizer and 100% Pure Powder. I am religious about my washing/baking soda/ACV/MOM regimen though.... I will definitely knock it off with the tinted moisturizer though and add in the alcohol to the nostrils...
@PeachesSkinCare4 жыл бұрын
TropicalDreamin' I just saw you come to us. Don’t give up! Don’t change your routine! Your body is just changing with pregnancy and your skin Is thickening to protect the baby and your body is warming up. Make sure you do your milk of magnesia masks and that you do not use any tinted sunscreen that I don’t recommend. I’m testing more things now🍑 if you can get in for a facial when we open next week. Now is the time to really take care of your skin. Your skin is taking care of you and the baby by purging out junk. So eat well try to avoid dairy and drink a lot of water and no soda and junk.

Can you do a video on using baking soda for your face? I’ve read so many reviews on why it’s not a good thing to use, especially if you’re sensitive to baking soda? There’s so much mixed info out here
@PeachesSkinCare4 жыл бұрын
I have done several video recently. Remember many of the people telling you not to do it have no practical knowledge of skin and skin products. I have three holistic skin care salons and have helped hundreds of thousands of clients. This is not my hobby 😉Trust me it won’t hurt you. Simply be gentle and do it anywhere from 1-7xs a week. Baking soda is alkaline and helps with the PH of skin, it’s anti inflammatory and antiseptic. Many holistic practitioners recommended it for bug bits and other skin issues. I have used it for three decades. I’m here to hold your hand!!🙌🏻🍑Lisa

Adding my experience in case it helps anyone else. I can’t use deodorants that contain baking soda, but I decided to try it on my face anyway after finding Lisa and this channel. My face was briefly irritated the first time I did it, but I may have used too much and scrubbed gently for more than the recommended ten seconds. The irritation didn’t even last the full day though. Now that I’m using Lisa’s products, I use baking soda on my face 1-3 times a week, and I don’t seem to be reacting to it at all.

Ani, Yes on both! I recommend no sunscreen until your skin is clear. If you must wear it only Elta Md braid spectrum spf 45 oil free for face and body, no tint! or sun bum mineral sunscreen. As for cleansers your skin only needs a pure antioxidant. Nothing else. We all have normal skin it is what we do to it that causes issues. Also try not to wear foundation, in my opinion it is the number one cause of acne and aging in men and women besides the sun. Does this help?

Ani unfortunately one is chemical meaning it has octinoxate and one is mineral with only zinc oxide. Try to do only zinc oxide. However the other has also given our clients no issues. As for the wash you use, it’s just a bandaid unfortunately. Your skin is the largest organ of the body and its two functions are to protect muscle and bone and organs and to purge out junk. When you use bad products it callouses to PROTECT itself but the issues are still there. Your products are not pure and they are mass produced. We might find some we both felt good about but overall not a good choice for hems they skin. Can I help you to try our products. It’s not a sales pitch I just know how they work and I know they are pure and what your skin needs. 🍑 Also drink Acv and wear a milk of magnesia mask for the bumps. Also take an antihistamine tonight before bed. Just in case you have a chemical reaction which I think you did. 🍑 Lisa

I feel like esthetician use brands that are not mainstream like the ordinary. Have you ever hear about nu skin? I don’t know I feel like they use brands that are good but expensive. Also out of curiosity, why is your brand named peach? Did ur products have peach as an ingredient
@PeachesSkinCare4 жыл бұрын
Who Green, Hello ☀️ The Ordinary is a one bottle one synthetic ingredient products. We see a lot of damage and chemical irritation from this line. Also you keep buying them so it does add up. An esthetician can use main stream brands and others can work with a chemist like we do and make small batched natural products. We don’t have to deal with big companies or pharmaceutical companies or mass production. My products might seem costly but in actuality we give bigger bottles and our products are pure and concentrated ( not watered down ) so you only use a small amount. Also when you buy from your esthetician it makes sense because he or she knows your skin and can guide you step by step with products and anything that you need. We actually just liked the name Peaches! I wish I had a better sorry 🤔 Hope this answered your Concerns or questions. Loves your comment. 🍑Lisa
