You are right about not exposing children to trans before they are ready to understand the dysphoria that is associated with it. I believe there are REAL Transexuals (such as yourself, Buck Angel, Blair White) and always have been in history, but what concerns me now is that it has taken a new form and it feels like a "cool" thing to do, rather than a psychiatric disorder that has to be carefully addressed and treated. Why do you assume Marcus is genuinely transsexual? She self-identifies as "a woman who lives *as* a man" and pretends to be a gay man. She's clearly a woman who fetishizes gay men, tried to turn herself into one, became disillusioned, and now makes her living criticizing others who make decisions similar (if not identical) to her own. She needs less platforming and a lot more therapy.

People do many things to meet the expectations of society that make them uncomfortable. My take on the LGTBQ+ community preaching to kids that they should "be themselves" is less like they're saying explicitly "Be yourself!", but more like they're saying "Be yourself by being queer!", you can't tell people to be themselves while telling them _how_ they should be themselves, it doesn't make sense. Of course I'm supportive of children and teens who _are_ gay/trans (though not supportive of them receiving irreversible surgery unless it's a last resort and it's been determined to be the _absolute best_ course of action), but the argument that the reason more and more kids are coming out as LGBTQ+ in recent years is because people are becoming more accepting is so bs. I myself was a teen who was convinced by all the stuff I've seen on the internet that I was gay and I _nearly_ fell to convincing myself that I was trans and to taking cross-sex hormones but thankfully I had parents who cared enough to not let me. Now as an adult I'm a completely normal straight man and looking back, I now realize that I was just over-complicating what "being myself" meant, I was trying too hard to classify myself into some abstract category like "bi-romantic homosexual" or something, and not only that but I had internally demonized the concept of being heterosexual, so I was further convinced against that. Yes, everyone should be themselves, but nobody should have to _try_ to be themselves, and furthermore being trans is not "being yourself", being trans means you have a psychological disorder that needs to be treated
@fidgetthecrazy
@fidgetthecrazy Жыл бұрын
Yeh, “being yourself” doesn’t mean “being queer”. what if being yourself for someone is being a home maker? Or being religious? They don’t take into account that “being yourself” also means being the things they preach against, or in some cases, might pose as a danger to society (like having violent behavior and such). “Be yourself” isn’t synonymous with “be gay do crime”.

@@fidgetthecrazy That's one thing that I think about whenever I see these gay/trans kids on social media with their parents being the main mouth pieces. Every time I think, "Would you still accept your son/daughter if they became an Anti-LGBT evangelical after bucking your leftist programming? What if they joined the westboro baptist church? What if they became Buddhist monks who rejected all sexuality as worldly impurities and preached self restraint in all things? What if they became Mormons? Would you still accept your child for who they are and what they believe or does that only work when who they are and what they believe fall in line with your political agenda?" I remember seeing video of a young boy going "yas queen!" And he was barely a toddler hanging out with his gay uncle. That video is in the internet for the public to see forever. Imagine he became a evangelical priest as an adult and he had this video of him with a gay man as a child being told to say "Yas queen slay" as a toddler. The personal shame and disgust he would feel seeing that. Thay uncle and dad have no idea what kind of person their son will become and could be causing deeply harmful wounds towards their sons spiritual health. It's why there are religious exemptions for everything. Let your son be a child and then discover what he believes for himself. Don't record him participating in something that is obviously political and ideological in nature because you never know what harm you are placing in that child.
@Brybee.
@Brybee. Жыл бұрын
When people encourage others to be themselves, they mean "be who you are naturally." If someone is gay or trans, they cannot change that so they shouldn't have to hide it. Also, "I'm a completely normal straight man" suggests that being LGBT isn't normal. Please reconsider your wording next time.

It never occurred to me that a lot of the people claiming that HRT is lifesaving have never tried to off themselves. I'm not trans but I've dealt with depression and anxiety for most of my life and I have tried to off myself and gave very little fucks about making bad decisions that could result in me losing my life. Having that experience with a dark mental state I guess made me assume that people claiming it's life saving were genuinely saved by it but if they've never even tried that's stupid af and manipulative. I'm glad they haven't gone through that but to pretend like they did to make a point is infuriating. I'm sure HRT has been life saving for some people and I'm glad those people were able to get help but giving them that help shouldn't come at the cost of ruining the lives of thousands of children that think they're trans when they have nothing more than normal teen self-esteem issues. I really hope we can get past all the bs so we start helping kids and not just helping the minuscule number of them that genuinely have gender dysphoria while ruining the lives of all the others by misdiagnosing them or accepting their self-diagnosis.

Why do they have to try? Maybe they have suicidal ideations but also have self control and people other than themselves to live for. Also it's scary as fuck to do cause your brain is equally telling you to do it and not to do it. And then there's those probably 99% that don't have "I tried to kill myself" tattood on their forehead. Believe it or not the subject is kinda taboo and most people keep suicide attempts to themselves rather than broadcast it so that you can decide if it's ok for them to be trans or not. I've got kids that I have full custody of. I'm their dad and all they have because their mom is a POS who doesn't even visit or pay child support. Mind you I'm not out. Ive told no one in my life that I am transitioning. I have no intention of telling anyone because only myself and those close enough to see me with no clothes on really need to know. I can't just off myself like I thought about 24/7 before I started hrt. It'd be selfish.
@ThatScrubWolf
@ThatScrubWolf Жыл бұрын
@@z-dblu5772 I'm glad these people haven't tried and I'm glad you haven't either. I don't wish that on anyone. Suicidal thoughts and attempts are separate though, although both are valid and people should receive help for them. A lot of people get suicidal thoughts but most don't attempt let alone succeed. If someone has never actively tried and likely was never going to try, it feels a little disingenuous to say it's life saving. That doesn't mean in the case of a trans person I don't support their transition and getting healthier if they haven't attempted suicide. Getting healthier is always a good thing but I also expect a bit more honesty about it as a lot of people have pushed people into transitioning by claiming the individual will kill themselves without it when that's often not the case, especially in detransitioner cases. A lot of people transitioning nowadays were never going to harm themselves but that doesn't mean I don't respect their struggle and hope they get the help they really need, whatever that may be.

What I don't understand is: Breast implants are "life saving" for trans ppl. But I am a born female and I would LOVE a boob job, to have bigger boobs. Some women just naturally have small breasts. So why do trans people get to have nice big boobs but not born females who were BORN with small boobs? Why do they get facial reconstruction when so many born women would do almost ANYTHING to have that too? Their insurance pays for it often or they can do a gofundme and many ppl will donate because it's "life saving". I have tried to commit suicide, I have the many, many scars to prove it. If I got a nose job, a face-lift, a boob job, lipo etc - all trans ppl get-I would also feel alot better in my life. So why them... And not me? I'm almost considering identifying as trans. Not a trans man. A trans female. A cis gender trans woman. Why not? If you can identify as anything these days and be validated, then I also want to join and get free life saving surgery. Im a detransitioner. Funnily it did save my life at a time I had nothing to live for and I had no access to therapists because the waiting lists in germany to get one are YEARS long if not full. So i had ONE short appointment with a woke therapist and boom, I got testosterone. And it was an obsession I kinda needed at that time because i may really be gone if it wasnt for my goal to live as a man and get out of this so hated role and feminine body. Now Im detransitioning, knowing full well, that it was because of trauma and issues that i transitioned. I wont say i regret it, but i will have to deal with the aftereffects now. But im still here. I genuinely dont know if i were, if I never went on T. But I'm sure, if i had the proper mental health care accessable, I probably would be doing better now without that experience and wouldnt have the everlasting effects of 3 years of T and legal name and gender change etc.

However, I truly believe that we need to go back to the days of someone needing to convince professionals that they truly had dysphoria and had to completely immerse themselves into living the life for at least a year before doctors would start giving hormones or even think about surgery. The harm this madness is causing needs to stop.

it's still weird that Chris is claiming to have Genderproblems so long while we was mocking them and get married with a kid, the kid is like 2yo now. And despite not knowing their family inner working there is still a fair point claiming it's really devastating for his family considering it always teared apart a family when one parent left the family to come out of the closet. this one has extra steps. they planned their life together, that's why they decided to get a kid in first place. Also this happens in public eye, the family cannot hide it from people around them to protect themselves. the kid will be mocked in school for this bc kids don't really understand it. A person who went through the same was scared as a child to grow up to become a women like his dad did.

I’ve went through a nosejob about ten years ago, due to body dismorphya - I felt like I couldn’t recognize my face in the mirror, and felt a stranget to myself, since I’ve had an early age accident - and even in that case, due to being in the hands of a responsible surgeon, I wasn’t able to decide which my nose would look like. My doctor did not accept my suggestions, and he had a point, since he didn’t want me, ten years later, experiencing the same thing, not recognizing myself! I’ve had two surgeries, the last one was a retouch - because I had a car accident - and it’s been ten years that I’m in peace with my mirror, i feel that this is how I was supposed to look like if I hadn’t suffered any accidents. It’s a nosejob story, but it gets me thinking how doctors working with transitions, are not as near as responsible as the doctor who did my nosejob! That is criminal, people making major and permanent changed in their bodies, with so much ease, while not being rightfully advised on what they really need. It’s devastating. Because, even if my nosejob went wrong, I could work with it, it’s not the same when you changed all your body to look like something you’re really not.

People really use the term "life saving" in regards to transition way too frivously. I say it was "life saving" for me because I was very suicidal and made several suicide attempts prior to my transition because my dysphoria was really that unbearable, and post-transition I haven't had a single such urge, and I'm much healthier mentally. So I think for me, transition did actually save my life, so to the point that I and everyone who knew me were suprised to see me live beyond age 30. But this just isn't the case for everyone. A lot of trans people have milder levels of dysphoria. I mean... fortunately. There shouldn't be a competition on who has the most extreme dysphoria. I don't think I'm "more trans" than you just because your dysphoria was milder than mine. Any adult with dysphoria should have access to medical transition. It's just as much about quality of life as it is about saving the lives of those rare few with extremely bad dysphoria. No one should have to be literally dying to get their medical condition treated.

Surprised you didn’t mention Chris’s other tweets about loli and thinking a 4yo was “hot”…. Him being trans is not an issue on the surface, but his background and the deeper reason is very suspicious…

My 8yo son has a friend who is a few years older now living as the opposite sex. It's hard to keep kids from trans ideologies when so many kids are transitioning. I asked my son how he felt about his own gender after he learned his friend was trans and he is happy being a boy so no further discussion was had. I am worried for his tween years and the social pressures that come with that age for him, he tries so hard to make others happy...

I have a theory. That many men who become trans women aren't actually feeling like a woman, I think a lot just don't identify with current masculine expectations or pressures so they think they can escape that through womanhood. It makes sense because being a man isn't easy either and many don't fit into that toxic masculinity box. There are some people born in the wrong body and there are some that just don't fit into expected roles.

That's true about teenage girls who are either identifying as trans or non-binary in numbers never seen previously. The men tend to be porn-addled AGP perverts.

@Dude orDuuude I think that's definitely an element for some people to transition but for many, I think they just don't want to be a man anymore in this society

It’s not gatekeeping. It’s making sure that patients are receiving the proper treatment. We wouldn’t give someone chemo because they are worried they may get cancer, so why would we do irreversible damage to someone’s body without being 100% sure it the proper treatment. It’s become the new “in” thing.
