I'm a 50 year old straight woman. Many would ask me, "why in the world are you subscribed to this channel". I'm interested in the whole gender debate sure, but mainly I just really like Marcus. What happened to that, being interested in and liking people who have different experiences than yourself. There are also so many interesting comment posters here too. Why does it seem so frowned upon by so many lately, to care how other human beings feel and think. How can we all get along if we just lock our minds in echo chambers filled with people as exactly like ourselves as possible. It sometimes feels like the whole world is increasingly trying to segregate those they identify with from everyone else. I fail to see how that makes for a harmonious society.

I really appreciate you coming out in defense of gay men. I have had sexual experiences with trans men, and like you said I’m a top that enjoys sex with a male presenting person. I am not attracted to trans women or biological women. I feel like this topic isn’t addressed frequently and pardon the cliche I felt very “seen” by you. I have never had good experiences with the radical side of the trans community as they continually move the goal post and find reasons to be offended even when I was trying my hardest to be kind and respectful. I do believe the more radical side, that as you say makes no effort and demands recognition is suffering from deep mental health issues and I simply must distance myself from anyone that is so unstable. To directly answer the title...yes. Yes we are. Since I've detransitioned (I'm a gay man who thought I was a woman), I've gone through androgynous to somewhat more masc looking. On Grindr, being asked if I'm a man or woman, if I still have my 🍆, and told that my gynecomastia is sexy are what I've come to expect and accept. It's just how it is. The way these transmen are reacting is pretty indicative of being women.

A gay friend of mine gave me a glimpse into the world of online dating outlets for gay men, and I was really surprised how candid some of them are. Some...almost all of them, to be frank. They bluntly state what they want. One guy said that he was looking for unprotected anal sex, preferrably with men who, like him, are HIV positive. Well, I thought, at least he's considerate enough to reveal his HIV status. Some guys are also very blunt about what they don't want. No "silverbacks", for example. Thinking about it, I think that's how men are likely to end up acting when there are no women around to restrain them.

I'm straight, but I truly have sympathy for.gay men and the abuse they are getting shamed with by the TQ+. I truly do with all my heart. Trans women know 9 out of 10 times, a straight guy will never want to associate or have a sexual relationship with them. So they fall back to gay men as they themselves started out as gay and have the tool to make gay guys happy. Nobody needs to justify what sex they feel they are and nobody needs to justify what type of person they find sexually attractive. However sexual attraction is a two way street. A trans woman may well be attracted to a straight genetic guy but that guy gets to choose if he is attracted to a biological woman, a trans woman, a bisexual biological woman or male, a gay guy or absolutely no one at all. It’s delusional that a trans woman DEMAND that a straight guy find her just as sexually attractive as a biological woman because SHE SAYS HE MUST. The old school LGBT community was always well aware of trans people being in 'homosexual' relationships in relation to their new gender. It was fine, we all knew that was an option, and everyone had a different preference for it. What wasn't happening was everyone and the "allies" straight up gaslighting and harassing the LGB to ignore their orientation and sleep with others to spare their feelings. Because honestly, as a bi woman, this kind of thing could definitely lead homophobes to think they were right about our orientation being a "choice" and conversion therapy working. I really dislike when they use Cis for people who are just men Or women. It's Counter intuitive & just non productive to add an extra word to something that doesn't need to be there. If you're trans say trans man or trans Woman, if you are a man Or a woman just say that, you don't have to put Cis in front of it. Specially when they use it in a derogatory manner.

I love it how people signing up for a gay hookup site - a place that exists ONLY for a quick hookup with a random stranger - complain about being “fetishized.” That’s the whole point of Grindr - and why I don’t use it. I have NO IDEA how this got into my feed, but it's the most refreshing thing I've heard on the modern discourse on the topic. My opinion now and for ages has been "if it walks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, you forcing people to call it a chicken is just insane." I'm mixed in my acceptance when it comes to people who are trans, but you at least understand that a lot of people are faking it and lying and that's so awesome to hear from someone within that community. I won't and can't speak for your experience, but you sound more like a guy that 99% of a lot of trans people I've ever met/seen. I'll be sharing this video around!

The word is derived from ancient greek "andros"=male, "mime"=impersonate/emulate, and "philia"=love/friendship/attraction 😊 The equivalent of the attraction to trans women would be called "gynandromorphophilic" So, the gay (or bi/bi-curious) men who were attracted to you on Grindr, must have been also andromimetophilic. I knew a guy who is a trans-activist. He wasn't really trans, he was just using the identity to control people's words and actions by threatening to call them 'transpohobic.' He even tried to convince me that me being a Christian is wrong because according to him, I must want to kill gay people because I believe in The Bible. Turns out this guy is a pedophile, which explains why he was so adamant that I accept his 'sexuality.' Because he knew it was indefensible, and couldn't survive in an environment that called him out for being a sick pervert.

I worked with a *person* that was “non-binary” and dressed like a woman, sounded like a woman, did not have any indications of being male what-so-ever. But if made the mistake of saying “girl” or “she”, she would make a big stink about it and say “IM NOT A GIRL” or some crap like that. It made the office so claustrophobic, contentious and uncomfortable I ultimately to leave because I felt like I was being graded on not playing into her identity. If a person is clearly outwardly trying to convey male or female, I will respect their pronouns despite how well they “pass.” But people who can’t even make up their mind as one or the other or purposefully dress and act ambiguously to screw people up are the ones I can’t stand.

Speaking as a completely straight married female, in my experience men are *very* easy to understand. They're not full of drama, or bs. They straight up (hah! ) say how they feel in any and all situations, and are in this day and time refreshingly honest, as you said. And although it's super popular for women nowadays to "hate" on anything with testosterone, I *love* men. I'm not going to apologize for that. Gay or straight, men as a species have so much to offer, and we should definitely champion that, not shame it.
