Ngl I felt empty it fell flat to me. However, makes sense the episode was supposed to be an hour long but Netflix wanted to keep the runtime to 40 min. Definitely felt rushed. Also, the Caitlin/Vi love scene was going to be longer and perhaps explicit but Netflix cut back on it too.

Season 2 is not better than the first. Do you even understand that they threw away most of the plots that you cared about for some last second world ending threat nonsense? They skip over the entire Piltover Zaun War. Caitlyn's dictator arc is also skipped. Season 2 is a cliche ridden mess. It doesn't even feel like the same people wrote this season. And lets not forget all of the fake out deaths. This was an advertisement for future projects, it is not the conclusion to the first season.

As a lol player and lore enthusiast, well, I consider S2 to be superior in terms of aesthetics(illustration, ambience, melody) but inferior in terms of story management(too rushed, twisted up lore, many things doesn't make sense at all)

Actors always say that... I think its in their contracts that they have to. But in this case I believe her. If its even half the show the first season was, Id consider her words absolutely accurate. And I dont doubt that it is. Riot has some of the best fiction writers who ever lived on their roster. Arcane season 1 is one of the best peices of media ever made. Its unbelievable. Ive seen it about 10 times and its still always better than I remembered. Its like its so good your brain cant even process it. Like how when you take a picture of a sunset, the picture never becomes as pretty as it was watching it with your eyes. Anyone and everyone who was involved in that project has my outmost reapect and, most of all, my eternal gratitude. If you were only a PA making coffee runs, I dont care, thank you!

Yeah that's how it is in animation sometimes if everything goes according to schedule. A feature film I worked on from 2022 to 2023 is coming out this Christmas on Netflix and it was pretty much finished during the first quarter of this year.
