I think Uzi coming back 15-16 months after pink tape is definitely the right move considering the fact that pink tape was his worst album musically and commercially. Also looking at the short wait time between his 2015-2017 projects and how much quality is in them compared to the long wait time from LIR2 to EA and EA to Pink tape where he moves idea to idea way too fast and ends up rushing out the final version.

Whilst i enjoyed pink tape a lot personally, i think Uzi’s name has gone downhill a bit since the release, people don’t get as hyped for an uzi feature or drop anymore like compare what an uzi feature or carti feature would do for an artist it’s so different now even tho uzi was bigger than carti until 2020. I think this album he’ll just drop a lot of safe songs he knows his fans and the mainstream will enjoy so people give him back that respect and anticipate his next move again, future on we don’t trust u was quite safe but every song was good and he’s been respected a lot more since that
