This movie was needed. The story, the action, the hopefulness. The questions it provokes, heroes being heroic... Not the perfect film but bruh, not much more you can ask of a movie to do on this sort of scale. This is what the MCU needs. Miss me with the Antman & Wasps, Ragnoraks and GoTGs. Rich storytelling and stakes. Powerful beings dealing with actual stakes. That 2nd trailer for Eternals spoke to me, and this movie delivered. I will say that the primary Deviant could have used more work, but other than that, outside of trimming the fat here and there, this movie was excellent. "A" movie, possibly A+, but will need to watch again to see how it ages for me. Jodydamus called it on this one.

Saw it last night. Liked it a lot. Favrotire characters were Gilgamesh, Thena, Druig, Makari, and Phestos. I liked Ikarus before the twist. Couldn’t stand Sprite and Kumail Nanjani’s character. The cinematography was on another level. It felt like a FILM. Like it’s scope, directing, and storytelling is so unique compared to the rest of the universe. It opened up the universe in an amazing way with the Celestials. It made the Avengers feel so small, like if Captain America or Thor showed up, they’d feel so out of their league. I think some parts dragged and they could’ve done more with Angelina’s character, I feel like her character arc wasn’t fleshed out enough. Also, crazy how this film had the best display of super speed I’ve ever seen in a comic book film with the deaf Eternal. Critic reviews make zero sense. Kind of weird considering it’s better than 95% of the MCU movies the critics fawn over. I give it a B+/A-. It left me with a shit ton of questions tho.

Captain America and especially Thor would mop the floor with the Eternals. Most of the Eternals have garbage powers and couldn't defend themselves against enemies unless their most powerful members are there to help them. 🤷🏿‍♂️

Eternals was🔥🔥🔥 Great character development, good executed story, great action and emotion. This film had me caring about characters that I didn't know or care about. This is definitely top 2 in the mcu for me and it might be number 1 over my black panther but I gotta give it a rewatch. Favorite characters: Gilgamesh, Makari, Thena, Druig, Phastos. Ikaris was cool but after he made the turn I was fully team human life. Still understood why he did what he did which just contributed to the great writing of this film. I'm between an A or an A+ right now.

I don't think Ikaris is dead but if he is dead then that is a real shame. He could have gone through an amazing character developing story throughout the MCU. But there's hope that he could still be alive. Either he noticed he couldn't die in the sun which makes him breakdown into tears, or the celestials resurrected him like what they do to the Eternals in the comics.

I'm very late but I like to read comics so that's where I messed up with this movie lol. They cut out the male leader of the Eternals then changed 3 male characters into females. They gave the male leader position to Ajak who was a man. I don't know why they depowered them all when they should have all had the same exact powers with varying skills in each one. They made about 5 of them completely useless like Sprite, Sersi and Druig. When Deviants came around all they could do is parlor tricks and run so why did the Celestial send them if they can't do anything? They made them freaking robots instead of living beings! They made the Deviants animals and beasts instead of intelligent humanoids with advanced technology. Hollywood always cuts out things that require actual writing talent so they made this whole race of beings into animals. I like intelligent villains versus mindless beasts. They could have let them all be powerful with the same powers unlike mutants. This movie should have been called Eternals Who Are Not Actually Eternal lol. Why are they called Eternals if they can die so easily? They were heroic but Hollywood is so good at ruining a good base for a story and they succeeded in doing that.

I actually felt sorry for the Deviants. They just wanted to survive and the Eternals slaughtered countless of them. I felt there could've been an 'enemy of my enemy' sort of deal between them. And I guess the Celestials are now the main villains of this new era in the MCU. Some plot holes and such to name a few, but an interesting film. I was also furious to find out who's voice it was at the end credits.

Gotta be honest, movie was just aight with me. Didn't hate it, but didn't really like it either. My main two issues with the film is that Ikaris just didn't come off as a believable antagonist in the end. Kinda felt like Omni-Man but not as convincing. Other issue being although there are plenty of Eternals that I liked, Druig being my personal fav, I didn't particularly about any of them either. Only one I would've cared about had something happened to them is Phastos, but not because I care about his character really, but because they gave him a family. I got a little of that Dune feeling where something was missing, even with all the flashbacks. There should've been a whole other movie, hell even an anthology series showing the Eternals throughout history before this. Not a bad movie at all, the critics are tripping. It was just wasn't really one I was vibing with.

Bruh I really dug this movie, I only hated sprite as well. Everybody else was tight. The movie is a bit long but I was having fun with what they were giving me. I like heavy lore, that sheet is tight to me. As soon as it came on with the opening crawl and said "In the beginning" I was sold nigga. Cinematography and special effects were on point. Felt the love in this sheet. Everybody loved each other. I think Ajaks was wrong tho. Deviated from the mission, dont think she should've died for it but i would've stayed loyal to asherim. He's pretty much God. And the speedster is beautiful, she needs her booty ate.

Am I the only person who liked Sprite 😭😭😭😭. I did have some issues with this film. It was paced kinda bad in the first third, the middle 3rd has A LOT of exposition and I do think the deviants could’ve helped against Tiamut or even Ikaris. But other than that, it’s an 8.5/10, maybe even a 9/10. The critics got it wrong this time but Ant-Man and the Wasp is like a 88% and the Guardians with their corny “dudebro” humor that was super dated back in 2014. Not saying this film was perfect or a cinema changing masterpiece, but it definitely spoke me on a lot of levels that I wasn’t expecting. Like it’s not lost on me that Ikaris, a straight white male, was arguably the only one truly wanting and needing the status quo of essentially genocide against indigenous peoples is defeated by a trio of 2 women, 2 PoC, a disabled person and a queer person, marginalized, oppressed groups who’ve throughout history have suffered the most from white males. Also, he’s British and we know how the British like to invade and colonize under the guise of missionary work.

Just watched last night. What in thee fuck is wrong with these "critics"? This movie was so cinematic that it didnt even feel like an MCU film, it felt like a superb Marvel/DC superhero movie! But I gatta say, it was a lil to comedic for me, but I laughed a few times so it wasnt that bad. The 10 second agenda moment tho was def. unecessary, Feige you aint slick. And im not a fan of animal type villains in a movie im more of soldier/intellegent looking villains, so I wasnt impressed by them. But other than that, bruhhh this shit was fire!! That action, that story, that emotion, the sex, the score, the story, the script, the visuals, the powers, that badass menacing Celestial, etc; SUPERB!! These critics high than a mofo!! The first endcredit was kinda wack, but it was interesting in a way. But that second one caught my eye a lil! I didnt know shit when I saw the box and sword, but when I saw that effect, and the look of it, I had a feeling that it means something is coming. I hear yall abt Ikaris and Sersei but imo they were underdeveloped. We know Ikaris was determined on the mission and he loved Sersei but the movie didnt show why. They didnt explain why Ikaris is such a soldier and so determined. He kept saying he has a dark past whatever they needed to show that shit. Anything more is just extrapolation. Imo they shouldve show Ikaris past and origin where he fell for a human and had a kid and he gave his kid mechanical wings to fly but it caused the kids death then he turns away from humanity for years and thats why hes determined to do the convergence. All the while hes conflicted cos he loved Sersei and Sersi loves the humans. I was lukewarm with Ikaris because they never explained why he was so headstrong why he loved Sersei what that had to do with anything. All in all was an OK movie not enough to call it a masterpiece. But i agree the scale was larger than any other mcu movie and the story they were TRYING to tell was good.

It is fair to hypothesize that Wakanda having Vibranium and being so advanced is in some part due too Eternals like Phastos giving them a little boost, or Sersi creating Vibranium. This is NOT to say they aren’t genius humans, it’s just a bit too close to what Phastos wanted and suspiciously wreaks of Phastos intervening LOL and no hate. They deserved it. Wakanda forever, in fact.

The Batman and Superman acknowledgement in the film was a nice touch from Feige. However, there was missed opportunities to tie-in the Eternals into the MCU fold. It would had been nice to see what was they doing during Avengers 1 or even before and after Thanos snap. Yet, I do feel like non-comic book fans or general audience will probably forget the Eternals rosters names because they’re forgettable. Don’t feel they are relatable just characters who exists But looking forward to see what they do with Kit Harrington character Black Knight and the other Eternals within the MCU cosmos. Yet overall I did enjoy the film creative choices.

All that YOU have to do is stop relying on your own strength and abilities to save yourself and admit that you are a sinner and that there is absolutely nothing that you can possibly do to save yourself; and completely surrender to God totally out of a pure heart and accept that Jesus died for ALL of your sins and rose from the dead and that ALL of your sins are completely forgiven and you are not condemned but are saved because you believe the gospel of Jesus Christ the resurrected Son of the living God. Will you do this? If you do truly repent and accept the gospel of Jesus Christ by *faith* , you will be born again and The Spirit of Jesus Christ will be in you forevermore and you will never perish but have everlasting life because God loves you. Pray to God in the name of Jesus Christ and God will send His Spirit and He will enter and be in you forevermore. If you are a born again believer and The Spirit of Jesus Christ is in you right now and you know it with 100% certainty, then you are saved and will never perish but have everlasting life. Now do the best that you can to not sin anymore, but if you make a mistake and sin, just get up continue to run the race and if you make a mistake and sin again, get up again and again and continue and continue to run the race and do the absolute best that you can possibly do to not sin anymore, but know and be confident that you will never perish but do truly have everlasting life because you truly believe the gospel and are completely forgiven and The Spirit of Jesus Christ is in you of a truth.
