Official court summons are done by mail so the court has some confidence you received it. Some courts will only use certified mail so there’s proof you received it. They ain’t faxing or emailing you shit, buddy.

As someone who worked as a municipal jailer, I can tell you that if he gets picked up anywhere in the US, that judge will get him in his courtroom. I processed plenty of out-of-state misdemeanor warrants and a few times a judge sent deputies almost cross country to pick up someone at our jail because he was pissed off. And... if the judge has to spend the tax-dollars to send agents to do that, you can bet your bottom dollar that he ain't getting out early and might even pick up some new charges. Also, his mouth will eventually get him into trouble with some Mexican cops who will have no problem dumping his ass at a border checkpoint for BP or ICE to hold until he gets sent off on that warrant.
