You will find that "outrage" of the Kennedy children on RFK, Jr is paper thin. They have stated they love each other and RFK, Jr understands why some of his siblings criticize him in public. As evidence they can be civil together is that photo with Ethel on her 96th birthday earlier this year - RFK, Jr already separated from the Democrat party and running as an Independent.

No, Julie, these people are not heartless. It’s because Ethel Kennedy was an influential person in her own right. There was absolutely NOTHING disrespectful in that headline whatsoever. And believe it or not, families can have more than one matriarch, especially in an extended family. So yeah, Ethel was a matriarch in the Kennedy family in addition to Rose. And I’m old enough to remember when Ethel was a very well known figure back in the day. I knew of Ethel Kennedy YEARS before I had ever heard of RFK, Jr. And RFK, Jr. is not her only child who has sought political office. Her oldest child was the Lt. Governor of Maryland for eight years, and both her son and grandson served in the US House of Representatives. So there are far more other impactful and influential members of her family than RFK, Jr.
