Indeed . But she is no business women . She is placing an ethical stance on an item which is fine once the item is at the point of wholesale and sucess but not as a USP on the outset . There has never been a product that has started out with a `change the world` aspect and been sucessfull . Company`s already in business would have already considered market desirability off these ideas in the past and if they do not run with it a new starter doesnt stand a chance . Likes off her woke friends on twitter do not equal sales . She also embellished ( im being kind here ) both the size of the market and her products future worth . The dragons shake a hand in front of the cameras but once the lights are dimmed the numbers are gone over and if the `facts` presented about the market or market share are bollocks the investment is retracted . Going on her numbers this would have been her future if she had got this investment .

Seems like these would sell quite well focusing on the fact that they’re made from cork, and cork being cleaner (especially given the fact that people are hyper-focused on sanitising everything right now what with coronavirus panic). I also think that the charity aspect is an incentive to buy the product for a lot of people who are into yoga. If she didn’t have that, I doubt she’d have sold the bags or many of the mats at all. That being said, I don’t have any idea what percentage of the yoga market is motivated by that kind of social incentive 🤷🏻♂️ Also... everyone goes into the Den either wanting to bag Peter or Deborah, but why? Tej was the perfect Dragon, so why focus on Deborah? And if she really did have plans to go into clothing, why not Touker? Just doesn’t make sense to me.

$25 bag and $65 yoga mat (a mat that’s a normal mat , with extra cushion .... Yep , she’s absolutely lost it on top of that the amount that she’s “donating” is BEYOND through the roof ‼️ It’s a great thing ; however , that’s absolutely MAD ‼️‼️

How did they jump from "Made in China" to "it doesn't fit with our ethical business model". I need a bit more detail about the company that makes the mats, for that not to sound "prejudiced" (to put it kindly).
