To unlock the "old" paper trade with the 1.7 villager you need to trade his old trades, think of it as 2 different trading tabs and it should make sense. You may be in trouble though since the paper trade was the last one, but try it out.

If Etho were to make a village near the gold farm, he could make an iron farm, only have the Iron Golems fall into the gold farm, making it so when one Golem does, another one will be there to take it's place.

Redstone Yeah, but it will not be an iron farm, it will be an "Iron golem replacement farm" I can imagine it. Just instead of a tube and a killing chamber at the bottom place a piston or trapdoor stopper so that the golem doesn't fall down. He will stay close to the villagers and prevent new Golems from spawning and when a golem in the farm dies, just release the stored one in a tube with vines at the end right into the gold farm. There is no water in the nether to push the golems from the farm in the storing mechanism but since a new golem won't be needed very often they can be left to wander in the spawning chamber and will eventually walk in the storing place. Etho, the reason that villager was running from the stairs was because the only valid spots for him to idle-wander to were on the full blocks, but the stairs were in the center of a room whose floor was half blocks. As for why you lost the blacksmith, I think the chunk failed to save.

Jgames444 Iron gold farm? I believe the previous commenter ment for Etho to make an iron golem spawner above the gold farm to replace golems if they die. The amount of iron that the dead golems produce probably won't be significant enough to break the balance of the game. If you already understood, my apologies for explaining again.

Etho! Make a village up above the farm, that way when you spawn Iron Golems they can be used to replenish the ones that get damaged in the farm.

You're completely right about the pumpkin trade! I have a decent automatic pumpkin farm that runs while I'm around doing other things, and I'm already up to 4 stacks of emerald blocks after just a few IRL days of work, so Etho is 100% correct about the pumpkin trade, just make sure you have LOADS of slime balls, iron ingots, and redstone, that is, if you want to get rich really fast.

Etho I'm not trying to advertise but I think that you would enjoy playing Clash Of Clans. I've been addicted for over a year. In Minecraft and especially TerraFirmaCraft you really seem to enjoy collecting things. In clash of clans you mainly collect resources, and then use those resources to become more powerful. If you really enjoy it, I would suggest buying all of the builders because it allows you to play more. Liked the episode and it seemed like you put enough time into it. 1. Etho probably doesn't have mobile devices and if so has no software to record it with 2. Why would somebody play it with 1 objective? Continue building it up until you're the best, it won't be entertaining long term unlike Minecraft 3. Clash of Clans takes up a considerable amount if time spent, something Etho might not have very often 4. How many people on KZbin record Clash of Clans? Many, it's not like Clash of Clans is a small game, it's huge, and I believe Etho like's to not do what everybody normally does 5. If Etho plays Clash of Clans, he will probably be swarmed by people of invites etc. He might just be spending a entire block of time replying to messages etc.

Etho check the village where you got the blacksmith from, there is a possibility that when you went through the nether your entity unlocked from what you saw and what you did never got registered, and when you either re logged or went back through the nether the game corrected it's self by reverting the things you did after going through the nether

Honestly the best villager to get emeralds is the fisherman because he buy like 15ish- 20ish string for an emerald. Plus you can build super efficient spider spawners and you can get tons of string!

Why no iPhone etho iPhone is the best ever (beside the iOS 7 update killing the battery). The Samsung phones break easy for instance the so called samsung Galaxy 4S active is suppose to be life proof but the screen can break. That is not life proof, and the Android operating system sucks download to many app it slows down like an old PC ( I type this on an iPhone 4s it's a good iPhone but the battery suck again cause of the iOS 7 update but I like it). Sorry for the long comment.

laughing because i've dropped my Samsung galaxy ace a lot and it doesn't have a scratch, while my mom dropped her iphone once and it shattered. if you use a phone that shatters when dropped you are not allowed to call any other type of phone fragile, also i have compared it, my almost full of memory samsung runs faster than my friends brand new iphone.
