I agree that it's more fun to watch, but beelining to the token and getting out is probably the more effective way to play, especially since most of the good loot etho found was placed by tango and future rewards won't be as good.

Is it true what Etho said in the video, that Decked Out is going to close soon? And how soon? What the reason behind that? I suspect that DO is quite hard to constantly manage and it takes too much time from you, but what's the master have to say? I honestly expected it to stay for like 1-2 whole months :0

Can we just take a minute to appreciate decked out. Tango has really gone above and beyond with it and it is one of the most impressive things I have seen in any Hermitcraft series. It gives you a feel like you are in an entirely different game that you would buy by itself, it is quite surreal. Props to Tango for this amazing creation.

Yeah. He spent 2 months working on it practically full-time AND found ways to entertain us along the way. I can't think of any other minecrafter with his combined skillset (game dev & redstone expert), so to get an even remotely similar result, anyone else would've had to spend much longer still. All the circumstances are aligned for this one.

I'm sure each and every single one of us loves it and appreciates all your effort! I hope you know that you create real happiness for a lot of people all around the world. Secondly it's a lot of fun watching you interact with all the other hermits and the activities on the server. You're a natural (or seem like one) in making people feel comfortable around you, which for sure reflects in the quality of the colabs and the easy-going and quick-witted banter/conversations! Thirdly I feel like a huge amount of the hermitcraft viewership community is currently really excited about the whole decked out experience so it'd be very appreciated if you showed all the runs! I feel like you play decked out exactly as Tango intended by exploring the area, seeking soul flames, finding secrets, laughing at all the details and obviously simply having a great time. Not only are you really good at navigating the dungeon in decked out, you’re really good at incorporating it into the videos. I’ve been watching pretty much every dungeon run on the server and you’ve done the best job at editing to keep continuity and the feeling of the dungeon while saving some time in the episode. I’ve never seen someone fit in so many dungeon runs, not to mention explore all the secret rooms and stuff. There’s so much going on in the server right now though, and you tend to take extra time to make quality videos, so I think we’d be ok with condensed runs too. Keep up the amazing work!

Yeah honestly I was kinda annoyed of decked out runs before this, it never seemed quite as epic as tango made it out to be, it never felt like they were really benefiting from their previous runs, but seeing etho run through, finding soul flame after soul flame, finding nooks and crannies, getting 20 coins in barrels, hearing stealth work, it really feels like the game tango showed off

Exactly. Some of the Hermits seem as though they are running the dungeon for the sake of running it, and don't particularly look like they want to be there. Like they are doing it just for the Gram, but Etho; however, his immersion and how involved he is with his surroundings, how excited he is to play, and how he shows more runs in a single video than a KZbin search of Decked Out provides in it's list, that involvement shows he truly appreciates Tangos work. These are by far the best runs.

Zedaph and Joe both look around a lot if you want to check out some others who might be promising. Each has found at least one secret and gotten some kind of loot from it. Some of Zed's runs are on stream. (Same with Joe, but he records them.)

15:43 Tango explained how he make the loot boxes in one of his vids, can't remember which one lol. The artifacts are randomised using dropper loop, almost like the one used in the stat poker stat picker. Then he adds coins based on the artifacts in the box. Better artifacts = less coins, vice versa.

I remember someone else also escaping with max clank and the mossy evoker revealed. I got a vague impression it could have been Beef, not sure. The person went forward, had the Vexes spawn, ran back and went another way. I've seen so many runs at this point that it's getting hard to tell them apart :P There's a meticulous reddit thread about Decked Out with extensive links though if you want to check out some of the runs you might have missed

Ah man the Bdubs challenge, congrats! Seems like he didn't expect anyone would beat him judging by the prizes haha 7 diamonds, a used diamond pants and 59(?) quartz. Seems like he even had Scar doing some diversion tactics like you did with the chat lol Love watching your runs, you do a lot more exploring and finding secret paths, the last run was gripping! I was leaning forward trying to go towards the exit too haha. Looks like you have the most decked out coins out of the hermits (if you still have left that is with all that buying of keys xD) You could try out the auction Tango has up now, the "Wildcard Artifact" just in case one of your needed unique artifacts despawned, lost when players died in game with the loot box before Tango changed it to box token, he said he'll check which uniques despawned and put them back in though.

@@AED10 disagree. The game may be brutal, but Etho goes in with strategy and plan. He knew he should familiarize himself with the dungeon layout as quickly as possible because players are rewarded for exploring and discovering secrets. He got almost 2 extra runs, just from the reward of the first run. The rest of the hermits just go in, grab loot and get out. No plans, no strategy. Any extra loots that they get are incidental.

As for the decked out Treasure, it's both. Tango manually puts some in there, especially the good hiding spots and secrets. But there are a handful of chest scattered about the place that get filled and drained with loot every run based upon your level of loot finder.

Tango manually put in the ones that are split in the barrel in every slot, because dispensers put them all into the first slot.

I love the Decked Out runs. Wanna see them all! If you decide against showing more, I'd really appreciate if you posted a compilation of the missed runs at least, unedited if that helps. Although I know that's usually against your quality over quantity strategy. But... I just can't get enough decked out, honestly. It's such a fun game. It could almost be a Let's Play on its own.

@@Klffsj Except he just ran back the way he threw the orb out of panic xD and he still made it. Same with the ravager that hit him at the entrance and left him with one heart, Etho's always been super lucky at escaping mobs

Thank you for actually taking the time to explore the dungeon during these runs. It's been a bit frustrating watching the other Hermits just speed through to the loot box and book it back out. Especially after Tango put so much effort into making a beautiful labyrinth with fun, hidden locations. It's really cool to see you stumble on some areas he didn't even show viewers while building the game.

It's very nice to see someone really doing their runs on-screen. Most other hermits seem to have done one or two, stumbled about to achieve very little, 'learned' the tricks off-camera and then share a single run. Your more indepth runs make it a lot more fun to watch.

I have never been tempted to rewatch an episode like I have this one - Etho, you are by far the best hermit to run the dungeon. It's a joy to watch and sit on the edge of my seat (especially in that last run). There's something so immensely entertaining about you and the way you tackle Minecraft in general. What most people don’t know is that that trap is designed for ravagers to walk through , so he still could’ve been chased lol , tango designed it that way so the ravagers didn’t die in the trap but players could

Your decked-out runs are the most interesting runs of all the hermits. It's really cool to see all the secrets and Easter eggs in the dungeon which most of the hermits don't seem to care about that much. And tango deserves his dungeon to be shown in its entirety after all the work he put into it. And I'd love to see more Grian colabs. I kinda suspect the two of you might become the source of some brilliantly entertaining chaos on the server. Gonna be great. Can't wait.
