I put salt and pepper in cubed scotch fillet. Then infuse lots of minced garlic in olive oil with butter tapos set aside pag nag brown. Sear cubed beef sa oil and butter then mix ko po worcestershire sauce, knorr seasoning, chilli flakes and pinch of sugar... more pepper then garnish na ng brown garlic pag luto na. 😊

Ser ako style ko is marinate the beef in knorr pepper garlic powder. Tapos pagluto ko una garlic until brown tapos set garlic aside para oils ng bawang naginfuse with oil tapos add beef and mushrooms and butter. Tapos ok na. Just garnish with brown garlic. Sarap yan lalo next day for bfast silog style. Rapsa

Sir Bogs, ang gunagamit ko Worcestershire instead of magi, I was told it’s the original drizzle for salpicao. I’ll try combining both magi and Worcestershire next time.

Salpicao in Portugese refers to sausage with bacon and pork with seasoning like worcestershire in the Philippines we use beef and mushrooms and garlic either in butter or oil or both

ayon sa aking tiyuhin, ang salpicao e para din sa sisig, yung mga trimmings ng baka ang gamit... at kung ano meron pampalasang available sa kusina. ano eh manginginoms dish... nagawa dahil wla ng mapulutan... considered na pulutan ng mga yayamanin nung araw, kasi una mas mahal ang baka, saka yang liquid seasoning at worcestershire sauce... yung dapat sana kaldereta luluto pero walang avalable na patatas, carrot at bell pepper... kaya nauwi sa salpicao....

Noong minsan nauwi ako sa probinsya namin sa Pampanga kasama pamilya nagstay kami sa Dau Pamp. Woodland Resort and Hotel Doon ko natikman itong Salpicao pero hindi Karne kundi mixed seafood and mild spicy but I like it super hot spicy and I never got a chance to ask my uncle the head chef at the Hotel and Restaurant and was trying to impress me which I was surprised how it was prepared but never thought of asking the process of preparing and cooking. It was awesome pulutan and an entree. My first time to encounter this dish. Just want to share this mixed seafood salpicao. Sorry I don't know how it was prepared. I will share when I get the info. I myself love to cook and anyone who gets a chance to taste the food I prepared are asking when will they get invited again to feast on the food I prepared specially my sizzling sisig. Thanks for sharing Bro Bogs. I was gonna share what I do with those sliced of steak that it is quick to prepare and serve but my comment is getting kinda long. Maybe next time. Thanks

Chef Bogs Beef Salpicao is a Spanish inspired Filipino Dished which Grilled Beef with pepper in cubes and loaded of Garlic. Salpicar means pepper and other words salpicado which means spotted or dotted which pertaining to the load fried garlic. And the other explanation is Salpicao are sausage in Portuguese...

Actually Salpicão is both Portuguese and Spanish not Filipino, it was made at the same time in the same shared region between Spain and Portugal just as Empadas or as Spanish say empanadas were made. We made the same things in our own cultured style.
