The problem with going to the range and practicing with a different magazine in your gun than the one you're going to be using when you carry, is you will develop muscle memory around how that magazine feels in your hand. You don't realize it, but you're actually holding the gun entirely differently than if you had the factory mags in it, You have to practice with the shortness of the factory mags so that you develop the muscle memory with them, so that it's the same when you have to actually use it in self defense....

My experience. I had been keeping an eye on these. Why? Well frankly I have so many rounds through my Shield that I wanted stick with it despite the influx of P365, Hellcats, and 43x. Nothing wrong with those guns. I happen to really like the G43x. But I trust my Shield. I usually carry with the 8 rounder, and a spare. Nice. But I wanted more rounds. I have tested these mags with about 300 rounds through two of them. I have had no issues with multiple types of ammo. As of now I don't have any issue carrying these. In fact I keep both in a pocket and they sit flat, very little difference to the table....I mean smartphones we carry. 33 rounds of dependable carry with a shield. I like it.

I am also very fond of my Shield and considering getting a 2.0 PC version... not sure whether short barrel or long barrel version, but I like this type of a gun. For the mags, I still need to put more rounds through them :)

I know there are other options that are more practical, but for me the 4inch with these mags would make a very nice night stand gun. BTW I noticed in your video the stippling job. I've used an ETS mag before. It was alright but the follower wanted to pop out the top causing the slide not to lock and I believe also an occasional failure to eject. I can't figure out how to fix the follower from doing that.

I am going to be replacing springs on ETS Glock 31 rounders to see if that helps - will need to test. So far I have been luck with Shield mags - even bought two more, but they have not seen too much action.

I doubt it. Usually 357 Sig and 40 S&W are interchangeable but not with 9mm. Let me try to see if I can load 40 S&W snap caps into one of these mags.

If you do it with friends you can keep your part of the mortgage to like 50 or 100 bucks a month. I live in South florida and two of my friends bought some land about an hour west of us. They spent less than 4 grand for a big ass mound of dirt, fence that goes around 1 1/4 acres a shed a deck and a dope fire pit. They split the mortgage, it like 100 a month for each of them. We use it on weekends, You could monetize it if you did it.

I bought one 12rd mag. My shield has no problems with the 15 s&w mags but this one didn't feed. It also had problems with jamming internally. I tried two rounds loaded at a time as well but gave up at the range. I'll take it apart and see if i can get it running but I'd never trust anything but factory mags to carry.
