I think this brilliant. I luv it. Real live music. Any one like me who lived through the 50s and 60s will know that the sound and atmosphere of concerts in those days was no different to this. None of us can help getting and looking older indeed unfortunately people pass on. Dean has done brilliantly in re creating their original live sound. Modern days Artistes who put so much effort into looking and sounding awful....LOOK., LISTEN and LEARN !!

On this day in 1965 {September 16th} Jan and Dean performed "Little Old Lady From Pasadena" on the NBC-TV program 'The Dean Martin Show'... Three months earlier on June 27th it entered Billboard's Hot Top 100 chart; eventually it peaked at #3 and spent 11 weeks on the Top 100 chart... Sadly; Jan Berry passed away on March 26th, 2004 at the age of 62... R.I.P. Mr. Berry, Mr. Martin {1917 - 1995}, and Dean Torrence will celebrate his 74th birthday come next March 10th...

God bless Dean Torrance! One of the giants of rock and roll. As for recognition from Cleveland, a real artist such as Dean Torrance doesn't need a pat on the head from an old boys club that carries no real authority other than that which it assumed for itself to know that he is worthwhile as an artist.

Jan Berry died on Mar. 26, 2004 after having a seizure that was partially related to a horrific car accident he had in the mid 1960's. He suffered brain damage from the accident and was unable to even talk for a few years after.

To any Brian Wilson fans out there...there are 2 members of Brian's touring band who are at this concert. The guitarist to Dean's immediate right, and the keyboardist on Dean's far left (who also had an acting role as a session musician in Brian's movie LOVE AND MERCY.)
@sharonramone71865 жыл бұрын
And the 2nd guitarist to dean's left is ex- newspaper columnist Bob Greene.Keyboardist Gary Griffin was with The Bel-Air Bandits J+D band in the 80s, 90s)

The falsetto isn't Dean; he hasn't tried that in years. But still a great stage presence without jumping all over the place. Check out his facial expressions. He's still a GREAT entertainer.
