Those are slick cameras! I really like how they have the solar panel built directly into the camera. It's also nice that everything can record to the base station instead of each camera having to have its own micro-sd card. Thanks for sharing!

I am curious on the distance from camera to home base. I am sure others would like to know as well. Looking forward to a video on this if you plan on it. Also how many cameras can you hook up to a home base? I always enjoy your videos. Keep up the good work.

That's mighty brave of you after all the Eufy scandals... storing videos unencrypted and visible to others. but I get it, you get those for free so why not. lol.

You always make fun of me for having extra parts when I put things together, but, with this you have an entire extra mini solar panel!?!?!?!?! I feel pretty validated right now. And also, you know I like things that are mini.....can I has??? :)

Maybe you willed the extra parts craze into existance with the BAG OF HARDWARE you showed me from that entertainment center😬😅 but... Who wouldnt want an extra solar panel😆 Yes you can has!🤗

Those are on my “Next List”! My other Eufy cams came before the built in solar, so I have external panels connected to all of them. Makes packing up and then setting up that much more… Do they have the magnetic mounts or are they the screw mounts?

Sasquatch has asked me to not use these cameras… 😮

There actually really sweet cameras especially the night time. They are just the screw mounts that are included.

@@AveRage_Joe I love my 220's, especially the magnetic ball/socket mounts in addition to the resolution. When I'm packing up Taj-Ma-Haul, I simply pull them off and pack them in their travel case, get to where I'm going and then put them back on, no fuss/muss!

The trouble with all these Wi-Fi cameras is that they don't work unless you have an internet connection. In other words they won't work at a time when you really need them as in shtf scenario.
@AveRage_Joe2 күн бұрын
Hmmm, I havent tried without internet. I assumed they would work since its on my local router and stuff. Ill try it tho
@johnrickman62052 күн бұрын
@@AveRage_Joe Do the cameras have local storage so that if WIFI is down the video clips are sent later when the connection is up. Are the cameras connecting to the base directly or through your WIFI router. What is the maximum distance of the WIFI connection through brick or steel siding. Is there an option to hard wire these cameras instead of wireless.
@AveRage_Joe2 күн бұрын
No local storage on the cameras. They connect to the base through wifi and no hard wire connectons. As far as distance through steel and brick...Id have to rig up some sort of test to see. Ill see what I can come up with.
@kenltron2 күн бұрын
@@AveRage_JoeYep, was interested in camera distance from the home base. I've been using WYZE as a reasonable (for the price) cheap solution for years, and they kinda have similar features. Eufy seems a bit better. WYZE cams are limited by WiFi, and their original outdoor cam with base station may get a little more coverage, but I have only one outdoor cam left working, and that'll be that. I may look for a replacement. Eufy?
@AveRage_Joe2 күн бұрын
@kenltron Gotcha. I havent tried the WYZE cams. I will try and see what I can come up with for a test. At the moment for ref, I have the s380 base in my basement towards the ceiling(or under main level floor). The tree camera in my back yard is at least 80ft away so it goes through the subfloor, 3/4" oak wood floor and the glass patio doors. The 2 S3 Pro cams are much closer about 25ft away from base. One goes through the floor and one wooden wall. Other goes through floor and 6" thick granite stone wall. How far are you thinking so I can possibly test it.
