The graveyard video was amazing! I loved it so much that I couldn't help but share it! I live in Iowa and had no idea about the cheese recipe gravestone. I have a certain dish myself that for one is always requested and second I gift to people on holidays.

Honestly anyone who's been keeping up with the try guys since the beginning- Eugene leaving is not a shock at all. He's been very open from the beginning that the things he wanted to create didn't fit in the viral space, but because of the success the try guys had seen, he's literally been putting off his biggest dreams for a full decade now. He's finally been able to start exploring these things over the past year, has barely been on the channel- this is all to say it's not a shock. If anything it's almost a relief, because now he fully has the freedom to explore these projects, and that's so exciting! I can't wait to see what's to come from him!

With Miles being part of the cast, does this mean we will finally get The Grease Boy?

My husband and I are huge Dropout fans. We saw the 2nd Try announcement and both agreed right away 2nd Try is absolutely worth the subscription. I LOVE SMOKE SHOW! So excited to see what else you guys bring to the platform. Would love to see some fun scripted content as well!

Seriously, the thought and consideration that you guys put into the timing and roll-out of everything is amazing. We appreciate you so much!

You guys need to make a tik-tok, reel etc of all the new try guys greeting each other like barbie, "hi try guy!" "hello try guy!"

Right ive just watched the graveyard video and got the annual subscription to 2ndtry. I can't believe I wasn't notified about this video as a subscriber. If this is the stuff you guys are making more of, I'm so in.

You probably won't see this but maybe you will, thank you. You've all impacted my life and journey for 10 years. I've been here since the beginning and since I've gotten married, had two children, left a shitty long term job, dropped out of highschool to work said shit job , got groomed twice in that span lmao Thank you, for being a pick me up , being a routine. Having an upload when I'd be sleeping on the floor of my first place . Thank you

as someone who began watching the try guys at 14 and is now 24. i can say that zach and keith and eugene and the whole new crew and cast have been great examples of growth and change and adapting. im a decade older than i was when i started watching but i still feel this love and warmth when i watch the content. so glad that you guys are so dedicated and selfishly very glad you’re working so hard to keep it going ❤❤

My real question is does Eugene's departure mean we lose Matt too?
@poorvajahatake6 ай бұрын
This is what I want to know too!!!
@JudyCZ5 ай бұрын
They confirmed on Instagram that no. 😊 Matt is staying on You Can Sit With Us (no idea if he's gonna be in videos, doubtful, but he hasn't been for a while anyway).

Keith's comments on Eugene is darn near exactly how I've always felt for him. Since he's voiced more over the years to me it's been so obvious he'd either one day leave to fully pursue his other passions or take a long ass hiatus. He did both LOL but no super excited for him and super excited for 2nd Try! One thing I've always loved about Smosh is their cast model, so I'm loving this.

Watching this makes me so sad for Watcher though. I really wonder what went wrong that they didn’t think of these things? I really wish they had talked to more people about this. I also wish they had been more transparent like these guys are being.
@blugreen1236 ай бұрын
The problem with what Watcher tried to do is that they wanted to ditch YT altogether, and pull all of their past videos and put them behind a paywall.
@m1ssb0ba6 ай бұрын
I also think a big issue is the split in their audience. I see it as 3 pieces, spooky, kooky, and foodie… They didn’t spend enough time growing their foodie and kooky audience, but assumed all would buy into a sub model. Their main audience is there for the spooky stuff, but now have to pay to get the same stuff, plus some extra stuff they don’t care about. The kooky/foodie audience might be excited for the potential, but may be on the fence bc Watcher didn’t really hype up that side of their channel. So they don’t really know what they will get and don’t necessarily want to pay for mainly spooky stuff when what they want is non spooky stuff.
@krykey80666 ай бұрын
Funny cause I am the Kooky foodie audience and was super disappointed with how they went about it and what they where offering. Like 1 new show about eating expensive stuff. I liked worth it and dream dish. I loved puppet history and they 'might bring that back. Just not fully realized and poorly announced in my opinion.

Can we talk about making Ugly Keith dolls available for purchase? Or an Ugly Keith zip up hoodie? I can't be the only one who yearns for Ugly Keith.

hoping you guys delve more into the specifics of the algorithm and the specific kinds of content it was hindering. i'm interested how you were able to know what was growing your audience but also driving regular viewers away. the back end is really cool. one of my fav pod episodes still is when you guys gave insight as to how you edit and ultimately the logistics of your creative process. excited for the future!

On an off-chance that you haven't seen those, You Can Sit With Us podcast has quite a few episodes with staff members. They talk about a lot of the technical, behind-the-scenes stuff.

I saw this announcement this morning on TikTok and immediately paid for a year subscription. I downloaded the app. Guys if anyone is on the fence, it’s good. They definitely put some money and time into it. I’m so excited for the new season and all the cool new content. Love you guys ❤

The algorithm is seriously such a good thing to bring up. I literally clicked this video and one of my other recommended videos was from Smosh games a year ago that I had never seen before and had only 100k views despite being subscribed with notifications on!

I cried watching Love, Eugene. Seeing him in videos again will be bittersweet, but I can't wait to see Eugene. It was excellent idea to have Rachel Mom and Nick Dad play the *devil's advocate* (other YTer didn't seem to do that😜). "Donuts misbehavin', donuts, donuts shop/factory closed" From now on that's how I'm going to refer to the "drama".😆🤣 I can see that you're already rebranding. Looking forward to getting more information how YT channel will operate going forward, especially specific upload schedule info. Miles is so right about NOT burning bridges! You'll never know when or who might be able to help you.😆

I love the pace and communication of this decision...the way that this has been in the making but it was done in a way that kept the community comfortable. even with all the challenges behind the scenes, this was business wise and performance wise masterfully done. Honestly in awe at the ability to use their channel and the pod to perfectly deliver this messge. Supreme "father with child in crisis" energy

I'm so happy and excited for you all; I know Eugene has wanted to grow outside of try guys for a long time and has had an epic fuckton of a career bucket list he was trying to work on. Your love and support of his dreams is so important, as both your colleague and friend, and it's so obvious how much you guys love and respect each other. It's obvious that you have put a lot of thought into how to approach moving the company into a new direction and expanding it, and I think you're handling it beautifully. I can't wait to see your new material, and watch the new group grow together. You've brought together an incredibly talented group, and I'm so excited for you all.
