Miles is literally work goals He went from almost quitting cuz he couldnt stand an asshole boss, to seeing that asshole boss leave the company in shame, so he figures out fine ill stay one more year, then quits as producer and we all lose our shit, a week later he's made official part of the Trypod as talent. A year later, he's part of the try guys. Literally nobody else is doing it like him. 😂❤🎉 RISE UP MILES NATION 😂

You can tell that their hearts are truly in the right place when Zach, in the middle of promoting his brand new streaming service, fully pauses to praise the Dropout team, and then tells people to also subscribe to them. 2nd Try and Dropout could very easily be 'competitors' but It's clear that both groups genuinely want to support the other. Which, as a fan of both, is EXACTLY what I want. Less competition, more collaboration! The misbehaving donut and Mrs. Donut were just not relatable for most they came from money and it was very clear they didn't relate to a lot of the fan base. Also, their hyper focus on selling his marriage and family as brand for him was a major given what he did and everything he risked from the company to his family was a major ick. I do feel bad for Mrs. Donut but sadder that she stayed but respect that choice even if it wouldn't be my choice.

The brilliantly-done announcement video, bringing in a top-notch ensemble to be able to produce the amount of content needed to justify your own streaming channel, having content prepared and ready to roll out immediately, getting in front of the announcement on socials and with this podcast ep to answer questions and explain decisions in a way so as not to talk down to the audience but rather make them feel like they’re part of the process and get them excited to be a part of this new chapter. It’s safe to believe you guys witnessed and learned from recent failures with these types of rollouts, glad you have the awareness and the right team around you to make sure not to duplicate them yourselves. The undying support that they all have for Eugene and his other projects and his career, makes me cry in itself. They are all truly best friends, that spent 10 years creating this bond between them on and off camera. May that bond continue to flourish through everyone success 💕

I wonder if they’ll ever do a podcast about how Ned’s fuck up affected them personally, like we know how it affected them professionally… but damn, I was so invested into their friendship. My heart breaks for them still that they lost a bff… but I know they’re on to bigger and better things! Jw

I really really admire Dropouts company structure. As a lawyer and a socialist girlie, the model that Dropout has set gives me a lot of hope that passionate creativity and shared, sustainable business can coexist. I absolutely love and respect you guys for reaching out to Sam Reich and modeling their business practices. Rooting for you guys!!

So freaking excited for Miles. I remember him talking about how he really wanted to work for college humor when he first started getting into media, now he’s a part of his own streaming platform so he can lean into comedy and do what he loves and what he’s good at. That’s huge and so so inspirational to me. Congratulations bud 💕

I really glad this was so well thought out, and that they are going to remain on KZbin for all the fans that aren’t able to afford the service. I look forward to supporting them, and supporting Eugene as he follows his passions. Keith and Zach are great at adapting. And it’s so wholesome to see Zach’s journey over the last 10 years as he opened up and showed his confident, and artistic side.

Honestly anyone who's been keeping up with the try guys since the beginning- Eugene leaving is not a shock at all. He's been very open from the beginning that the things he wanted to create didn't fit in the viral space, but because of the success the try guys had seen, he's literally been putting off his biggest dreams for a full decade now. He's finally been able to start exploring these things over the past year, has barely been on the channel- this is all to say it's not a shock. If anything it's almost a relief, because now he fully has the freedom to explore these projects, and that's so exciting! I can't wait to see what's to come from him!

Keith's comments on Eugene is darn near exactly how I've always felt for him. Since he's voiced more over the years to me it's been so obvious he'd either one day leave to fully pursue his other passions or take a long ass hiatus. He did both LOL but no super excited for him and super excited for 2nd Try! One thing I've always loved about Smosh is their cast model, so I'm loving this.

The problem with what Watcher tried to do is that they wanted to ditch YT altogether, and pull all of their past videos and put them behind a paywall.
@m1ssb0ba
@m1ssb0ba 6 ай бұрын
I also think a big issue is the split in their audience. I see it as 3 pieces, spooky, kooky, and foodie… They didn’t spend enough time growing their foodie and kooky audience, but assumed all would buy into a sub model. Their main audience is there for the spooky stuff, but now have to pay to get the same stuff, plus some extra stuff they don’t care about. The kooky/foodie audience might be excited for the potential, but may be on the fence bc Watcher didn’t really hype up that side of their channel. So they don’t really know what they will get and don’t necessarily want to pay for mainly spooky stuff when what they want is non spooky stuff.
@krykey8066

Funny cause I am the Kooky foodie audience and was super disappointed with how they went about it and what they where offering. Like 1 new show about eating expensive stuff. I liked worth it and dream dish. I loved puppet history and they 'might bring that back. Just not fully realized and poorly announced in my opinion.

I cried watching Love, Eugene. Seeing him in videos again will be bittersweet, but I can't wait to see Eugene. It was excellent idea to have Rachel Mom and Nick Dad play the *devil's advocate* (other YTer didn't seem to do that😜). "Donuts misbehavin', donuts, donuts shop/factory closed" From now on that's how I'm going to refer to the "drama".😆🤣 I can see that you're already rebranding. Looking forward to getting more information how YT channel will operate going forward, especially specific upload schedule info. Miles is so right about NOT burning bridges! You'll never know when or who might be able to help you.😆
