Rainie- I have wavy hair too. What I find works is I have a wide tooth comb in the shower and then I don’t brush it after I’m out of the shower. This should help with the knots!

Raine as a lazy girl w curly hair I use a wet brush in the shower after I put conditioner, then at the end of my shower I put my products (leave in and gel) wrapped it w a microfiber a towel and not touch it until I am done getting ready

Rainie I totally get you - what helps with our hair type is brushing while it’s wet (hold it away from roots and brush so ur hair doesn’t fall out) so that your hair will dry detangled, without frizz, but still maintain some of the curl pattern. Brushing while dry def makes wavy to curly hair more frizzy but brushing while wet and maybe using a defuser (hair dryer with a thing attached to scrunch your hair) makes it super easy to maintain wavy to curly hair. Love the pod and hope this helps girly ⚡️

Rainie, fellow curly girl here!! there are likely two main reasons as to why you're experiencing those types of knots: 1) you current curl pattern/structure us just more conducive to knotting and/or 2) your hair isn't as healthy as it could be. there's definitely value to the curly girl method, but you don't have to follow any crazy routines- incorporate what works for you and feels doable! staying on top of split ends would be my first suggestion. your hair is lovely, and i feel like you could find even greater happiness with it!! (also, you're not crazy for finding happiness in brushing your hair less!! i threw my brush away almost a decade ago now and it's worlds healthier than it used to be)

Rainie!!! Hope you see this... You don't have to do the full on curly girl method. I have had similar issues with my hair and I LOVE my hair now. Use conditioner when you shower and comb your hair with a wide toothed comb while it's wet. If you use a hair dryer, use a diffuser. If not, just pull it up until it dries. It will be free from knots and curly. Comb your hair with a comb, not a brush, when it's wet.

Zach! The honey walnut shrimp has dairy. Your lethargy and mucus-y heaviness is exactly how it starts for me if I accidentally eat dairy. Like non obvious dairy. I will then get a full on migraine and joint inflammation before any gi issues ever occur a couple days later. Panda has a lot of good dairy free options in addition to the other stuff you ordered.

rainie, literally all you gotta do is after you shampoo and conditioner, comb your hair out while the conditioner is still in with a WIDE tooth comb, rinse, pat with a microfiber towel or shirt, run your fingers through it a little bit to part or style however you want, and let it air dry! that's it! you dont have to do a complicated routine at all.
