And the most disgusting thing about this is the fact that there are still SO MANY VIDEOS I didn't have the opportunity to share with you guys in this video. She called her son a sore loser and he began hyperventilating, she didn't change her preschool-aged daughters clothes for TWO DAYS (she even SLEPT in the clothes), she LOCKED and BOLTED their doors, and she openly admitted to neglecting her 2-year-old (she wasn't bathing her baby or changing the clothes). I wish nothing but the most miserable life for this monster.

I’m a substitute teacher on the side, if I called a parent and they told me their kid was responsible for packing their own lunch and said “they’ll just have to go hungry” I’d be on the phone with CPS immediately.

starting in 4th grade, my mom would only make me lunch once every week or two, and when i saw other kids getting notes from their moms and getting embarrassed, i asked my mom to do the same. on the rare occasion that my mom would make me lunch, she would give me notes in my lunchbox and i would keep them. they brought me an indescribable amount of joy well into middle school. sad. at the ripe old age of NINE years old i said "it's your job to feed me" and my mother responded with "it's my job to teach you how to be independent"

It's a terrible thing and the woman in this video is terrible, but going to CPS over that alone is going WAY too far. I hope you don't mean that example literally. I've personally seen lots of families get ripped apart because CPS got involved over something minor. They're not as reasonable as people seem to hope, and not every family with issues is better off being separated instead of fixed, but that's what CPS basically always does. Your standards for what would cause you to call CPS deeply concern me.

Any change in Vision has to be treated as an emergency. It's not get them in in a few hours it's get them in immediately. Just on this one thing alone the doctor could have called Child Protective Services. And at some point along the line one of the doctors had to question whether he should or not but probably saw the "good Mormon wife" in front of him and didn't call.

This is bullshit parenting. My parents put me into swimming, since my dad was a great swimmer. COVID-19 put a major pause on my swimming classes, but as soon as the classes opened up, my parents put me into even more swimming, because they genuinely believe that I'm good at it, and would become better over time. And I do genuinely enjoy it! If I ask my parents, they'll say swimming is my top priority(I have really good grades, I've only gotten two marks below A-) They let me do things that I'm good at, because I'm good at it!

I've heard from a few different sources that she didn't want to have the last two kids, she was satisfied with the four she had and she allegedly is quoted to have said E, her youngest, was too much for her. But she is mormon, and they believe the more children they have, the more they are rewarded in the afterlife. I think her husband might have pushed her to have more children than she wanted, and that was the start of the problem.

I heard about a TikTok with this mother telling how she came home and called for her daughter, but her daughter didn’t answer or come see her. She got pouty thinking her daughter was being moody until she got a phone call. It turned out her daughter wasn’t answering because she wasn’t home; the mother had forgotten she needed to pick her up from school. She painted it like, “Oh, isn’t this a hilarious story?” No, it really isn’t. I’m also guessing the daughter didn’t think it was funny when she heard that the mother didn’t know she wasn’t there, and that her response to her not coming to greet her like a Yorkshire terrier was to think she was being a little diva or something. I find myself getting more and more ticked off with people who mess something up due to lack of consideration for others, then try to laugh it off as, “Oh, isn’t that one of those funny things?” instead of admitting they messed up.

I almost lost my job because my daughter got the school to ring me to tell me she was upset because she got the sports carnival day mixed up and wore her sports uniform to school that day instead of her normal school uniform, she was crying and embarrassed to be wearing the wrong uniform. My boss told me I couldn’t leave to take my daughter her normal uniform to her, my boss told me she’d get over it. I know my daughter and I knew how upset she would have been being dressed differently from her school friends. I told my boss “tough, my daughter comes first, I’m going to take it to her and will work through my lunch break” and left. My daughter was in the officer waiting for me bawling her eyes out and the look of relief on her face was worth it. Thankfully I didn’t loose my job but my boss was angry at me, I told my boss that my children will always come first. That was 16 years ago, I am still with the Company (it will be 18 years this year) and I don’t regret my decision even if I had (which I thankfully didn’t) lost my job. As a mum I also made my children’s lunches every single day even in high school and every morning made sure they had their lunch boxes before we left the house, that’s my job as a parent!! EDIT: Also, unlike Ruby, I didn’t have the luxury of being a stay at home mum either, unfortunately my marriage had broken up so I was raising my children on my own and working full time, Ruby’s ONLY job was to raise her children and she couldn’t even do that, she is pure evil and so disgusting, I raised my children and worked as well and my children never, ever once missed a meal, not once, I also prepared all of their meals too unlike Ruby who was making her 5 year old responsible for making her own lunch - WTF!!!!

So to pay back what he has done for me, I try my best to tutor him in the lessons he's not really good at when he has his free time. She was SO cruel for taking away the only thing he probably have ever loved doing in school. The only place he have felt comfort without his mother constantly filming him. My parents were highly abusive, my mother actually told me "this is my home and we allow you to dwell here.' I spend 31 years fully under control, and didn't know that human rights existed till I took a security agent course. When I got out I said I'd never go back. When my stepfather passed mom ordered me to leave my job, sell my condo and go back to serving her. I would only be allowed to bring my clothes, to where I was told to give away my 2 10 month old kittens. I didn't, I went no contact with my entire family... its been 12 years and the best decision . PS the cats are now 2 beautiful older ladies. I did end up having my mother stalking me for 3 years.

Based on what I have been able to gather the abuse started or at least got much worse due to Ruby’s therapist/life coach friend, Jodi Hildebrandt. Jodi was the other person arrested in this case. Rubys son escaped Jodi’s house and ran to a neighbors, begging them to call 911. He was malnourished, starving, thirsty and had tape wrapped around his legs and arms. He was being held captive but managed to flee. This case echos several aspects of the Satanic Panic. Jodi lost her license to practice therapy a decade ago. She was working as a life coach and she has a history of grotesque malpractice. She is deeply unwell and conspiratorial. She worked to isolate Ruby from her family (siblings, etc), friends and then eventually her husband. She convinced Ruby that the kids were possessed or mind controlled by Satanists. Things continued to spiral out of control after Ruby met Jodi. Ruby’s husband went along with it for far too long but eventually ended up splitting with Ruby as it continued to get worse.

About the hospital: I'm 30, and have a strained relationship with my dad. I somehow tore a muscle in my sleep, woke up at 5am to excruciating pain. My husband couldn't take me to the hospital because our 1 and 3 yr olds were asleep. So I called my dad. He woke up, rushed out of his house, drove me to the ER and stayed with me for an hour, sitting in awkward silence. We might have an uncomfortable relationship but his there for me like a parent should be!! Even my abusive mother rushed me to a hospital 40 minutes away when I had bleeding with my first pregnancy and my car was in the shop. When I was in 8th grade, I threw up IN MY BED in the middle of the night and went and knocked at my mom's door and told my mom. And my patient mom was nice enough to wash and change my bed sheets while I cleaned up in the shower and by the time I got out of the shower, I had a nice warm bed to sleep in. THAT is what true parenting is. Not to mention my mom even took the time ON HER LUNCH BREAK AT WORK to come ALL the way back home to make me lunch and made sure that I the next day when I was at home sick. My mom didn't HAVE to do that on her lunch break. She could've just had her lunch break to herself but she didn't. She went above and beyond to make sure I was still eating and recovering. This woman could learn a thing or two from my mom but no. Instead this woman is over here making her CHILD sleep next to the toilet on the hard bathroom floor when they're sick and not feeling well like wtf. How insensitive is she?

I'm going to share a story that proves that my parents are WAY better parents than Ruby and Kevin have ever been. I am almost 22 years old. And a few weeks ago, I asked my parents to give me a wake-up phone call so I could make sure I didn't miss my 8am final exam. And you know what? They DID. Even though I had an alarm set and can get myself out of bed, I still wanted the extra security in case for some reason I slept through my alarm, so I wouldn't automatically fail the class. My parents STILL made sure I was awake even though I am a full fledged grown-up, because I asked them to and they want me to be successful just as much as I want to be successful myself. Meanwhile, Ruby over here can't be bothered to make sure her FIVE YEAR OLD CHILD is awake to get to PRESCHOOL, because she apparently is expected to do it herself. Well, Ruby, I have some news for you. You decided to have six children. You have (or, HAD, seeing as it is now too late now that she is in jail) a responsibility to parent them.

He is also still married to Ruby and has been communicating with her in jail and I’m also pretty sure they both made money from the channel, they just didn’t give any to the kids, but that’s not a surprise… I hope law enforcement are working hard behind the scenes to collect all the evidence from over the years, which won’t be too hard since they filmed it all, so they can charge Kevin and Ruby with the abuse they inflicted on their children before Jodi came into the picture.

I grew up with parents like Ruby and Kevin. Not with the vlogging, but the discipline and punishments, the "no privacy," the idea that as a child you should never be trusted and I was accused constantly of doing things I didn't do. Said that mental health issues were fake despite both having education and background in the medical field. I feel so much for those kids, and hope that they will have the proper support and therapy going forward. It's going to be a rough road ahead for the coming to terms with this, esp as they get older. I know it was for me.

Oh my god. The kid forgets his lunch ONE TIME and he is punished with starvation???? NOOOOO. You have to have reoccurring behaviour or do something really bad to get punished, and even then, an honest conversation about it asking why that behaviour is reoccurring and coming up with a solution is the way to go about it!! Here in the sane, normal world, if a NINE YEAR OLD CHILD forgets his lunch one day, it’s just a little mistake, and your job as a parent is to supply him with food somehow. This level of abuse is insane because it’s covered up as normal punishment.

Oh yeah my mom was kinda like this when I started growing up (from middle school on). Aside from the fact that she always used to tell me that I'm an "investment" to her and sh*t like "you live in this house because I allow you to, everything in this house is mine and I just let you use stuff" when I was literally a MINOR. 🙃 When I dared not to get all A's at school she would confiscate "my" phone and PC and forced me to study the whole school subjects in advance for the next year during summer. 🙃 I believe she's a narcissist. Now I have an 11 y.o. brother and she completely changed (I'm almost 30). Idk if she behaved like that with me because I'm a girl or what, but she did a complete 180 because I literally had a psychotic episode during which I tried to unalive myself. I'm in therapy now, of course. And because of her I kinda can't stand children and I don't feel anything that resembles a maternal instinct tbh. I'm not even sure I want children. :/ Parents like this mess you up BADLY.
