Hi there, here is Raphael from Brasil. My answer is why on B2 analogic gauge the triangle is on plus 6 and on a digital gauge the triangle is on plus 1? What is the difference between them if bouth have the same engine.

Hi Raphael... I can provide some insight but there isn't a definite answer to that question. There are many instances where there are anomalies within the product line without any explanation as of why. You will sometimes come across people giving their guess as fact, but without supporting documentation, that guess is just a guess. I understand the manufactures reluctance in providing explanations as ligation is consistently on the forefront when providing information. Looking at the B2 and the B2 VEMD. They are the same aircraft. There are small differences like the addition of the VEMD and caution panel. There are also various formats of the FFCL and possible throttle. But really the same helicopter. Looking at the Delta NG gauge between the two... there are a couple differences.... The take off range is different and the transient is different. As you indicated the Transient limit for B2 is +6 (Maximum transient rating (less than 5 s) Ng = 107.5 %) and the transient limit for B2 VEMD is +1 (103.1, HP=0 ISA). So the value which is allowed is different between the airframes. So Airbus has lowered the value of the max allowed in a transient situation in the VEMD model. So for one reason or another they decided that +6 was too much. It would make sense that they would then also like to limit the basic B2 model too, but to do that they would have to replace every delta NG gauge with new markings. You can imagine the cost of that. I am sorry I dont have a better answer.

@@EUROSAFETYTRAINING I do believe you are right. Aviation is very expensive for manual’s changing. I’m about to start a new job of flying a B, BA and a B2. That is the reason of my concern. And asking about it can be too much. The most of the pilots and mechanics don’t know the answer. I appreciate your time and congratulations for your videos. It has been helping me a lot. Thank you!

Bonjour monsieur , je vous remercie pour le partage des connaissances que vous avez . Le delta Ng est une réserve de puissance des GTM qui reste pour les pilotes afin d'éviter ce qu'on appelle OVER TORQUE . Cordialement. Mus .

when the indicator mark more negative is better beacuse the engine have enough power and when is more positve means is close to maximun trasient is reach maximun performance or the engine will no longer be able to give more power
