Arian Christianity from the year 337 to the rise of Islam in Arabia.
Why locals welcomed Muslim conquerors throughout what used to be the Roman Empire.
The untold truth about the spread of trinitarian Christianity by the sword.
The untold truth about the deep roots of Europe in Islamic Monotheism.
Revised phrasing:
When I say in the presentation that "Arians don't believe that Jesus is Son of God", that was an over-simplification. To be more accurate, I should have mentioned their disagreement regarding the divinity of Christ.
Thank you Giorgio for pointing that out in the pinned comment.
If anyone knows of a branch of Christianity who still to this day calls Jesus Son of God but doesn't believe that to mean he has any share of divinity, please let me know int the comments.

We know the historical Salafist position well. Too bad it's based on a lot of nonsense. The Arians were not like the Muslims. In fact, Muslims are anti-Trinitarian and non-Christian, while Arians are Christian and Trinitarian. Arianism maintained that Jesus was the Son of God (exactly as Catholicism, Orthodoxy and the Reformed world believe him to be, with the exception of the few anti-Trinitarian Reformed ones). However, Jesus is not a simple prophet for Arius, while he is for Muhammad. Where Arianism and Catholicism clashed was on what the nature of the son of God was. Catholics said that he was "of the same substance as the father, true God from true God, begotten and not created", and therefore always existed. Instead, the Arians said Jesus participated in the nature of God the Father, but in an inferior and derivative way. So, that he was “created at the beginning of time.” Many Visigoths went over to the Muslims for political and economic convenience, not because of their religious faith.

My presentation has nothing to do with Salafism, but I appreciate thoughtfulness and the distinction you bring up in the rest of your comment. My presentation doesn't go into the historical details regarding the Arian controversy, the way the words Trinity and Son of God were being used and what they meant. The Arians were not like the Muslims, correct. But Arians were anti-trinity in the way the Trinity had been defined during Arius' controversy. It's a shortcoming of my presentation that I said "belief that Jesus is the son of God" instead of "belief that Jesus is fully divine". However, it remains that the Quran speaks of Arians as believers in Islamic Monotheism (85:10).

@@quranintuitive9235 What the Qu'ran says about other religions is few important. The Islamic faith is the only one that claims to know what others believe, even when it proves not to know.

It's the other way around. It's called orientalism. And this comment is a copout from having to look into what the Quran says and who these people are in 85:10.

The Muslim world has roots in the message of Christ, no doubt. The Quran speaks of the closeness of Muslims to Christians (Quran 5:82). But my presentation is about something else. You should watch it, you might learn something helpful. But I understand if you find comfort in the standard perspective. Thank you for your feedback though.

No friend, you can call a tomato or tomatoes. There is only one God who created Adam and sent him on earth with the same instructions, which has given to coming after him so Islam is from the day one

I don't think Europe has "Muslim roots" but Northern Africa and the Middle East certainly do have Christian roots, though you wouldn't think so given the treatment Christians receive in those areas.

@@omarsamaha2830 Rampant discrimination and persecution of coptic Christians is documented in Egypt going back to the 7th ce. Coptic women and children are abducted and forced to convert to this day, and mobs of muslims still go around assaulting and murdering copts. Nope. When the concept of Europe was coined Islam didn't exist as a religion. No matter what role Muslims later played in Europe (Al-Andalus etc.) it has nothing to with the roots.

It is like African Americans said they discovered America, that Cleopatra is black with afro hair, that Vikings were black as they had dreadlocks, that a black person created the first personal computer, the first cell phone, the first car, the first rocket to the moon, that Jesus is black......So many African Americans won the Nobel Prize; so many are scientists, mathematicians, and engineers.
