Lol, this chart is so missleading. Allow me, as a hungarian: Hungary was formed in 895 AD. Our territory was small, because we were in the middle of conquering Hungary. Later in that very same year, 895 AD, Hungary became as big as the entire Carpatian Basin. The sad truth is, Hungary's smallest extent is its current form.

The Kingdom of Denmark's smallest extent was right when it became a thing, because they were still in the middle of assimilating all the tribes of the area at the time. West Germany and modern Germany literally have the same name and government so, safe to say West Germany was the "real Germany". Plus, if you include East Germany and Prussia as "Germany", you'd also have to include all the tiny German kingdoms, princetoms, duchys, ect that coexisted with Prussia.

There some issues with consistency.. For some countries you listed under as in modern government(aka modern representation of the country today) while for others you used the formation of the type of nation state(aka modern country’s existence, irregardless of its government or politics in that time). For example for Germany you used FRG since it’s the modern government of Germany today, while for Italy its Rome since it forged the existence of some Italian state. So when you talk about year at smallest extent, which are you referring to?

Good job, though, there's some mistakes in the video, for example: 1. Belgium was smaller before the scramble for africa, it had the same borders as belgium today but didn't control Eupen. 2. Slovakia was smaller when it was a puppet state of The Third Reich, having the same borders as today, except southern slovakia 3. West Germany was smaller in 1956 when the Saarland was an independent nation, before it joined Germany once again 4. England used to be smaller when it didn't control that part of southern scotland 5. Why didn't you include monaco, andorra, san marino and liechtenstein but included vatican city? I believe there's more mistakes, though these are all the ones I know of. Overall, this video was good, but next time have a better documentation, since it can improve your videos greatly.
