Finland is my favourite this year. This was such an iconic ESC, with that giant heater stage, the sketchy flower arrangements, the messy presentation by Marlene Charrell and almost all countries going full 80's with their songs.

What a spectacular year! Almost every song is great here, and the actual top 5 consists of some of the best songs in the whole ESC. Love this year, definitely in my top 5 favourites! When you said previously that you thought we might share the same winner this year, my first thought is that you were talking about Israel, and this time, rather uncommonly it's in both of our top 3s! Of course everything else is completely off but that's still something.

Sweden isn't all that good, but Norway, Turkey and Spain all are songs to be proud of...sorta. Turkey is so catchy, I could listen to it all day. And Spain speaks for itself. Belgium, Israel, the UK and Switzerland are also masterpieces. And, don't forget Germany and Denmark!

No song gave me chills, not in 1983, not today. Germany was my winner in 1983; 20 years later it was Greece and today I prefer France.

Not a good production (boring stage and postcards) and I thought the host was pretty awful - very wooden and she bit off more than she could chew by doing the 3 languages (some of her flower arrangements were nice with Turkey getting the douze points there). However, there were a lot of good songs. The right song did not win but at least we got the great production and host in 84 in Luxembourg. My points for 83: 1pt Germany 2pt Denmark 3pt Belgium 4pt United Kingdom 5pt Luxembourg (good but not my winner) 6pt Netherlands 7pt Finland (amazing and underated) 8pt Sweden 10pt Yugoslavia and finally.. ISRAEL 12 POINTS!!!! Ofra is amazing and the song edges out tough competition from Sweden and Yugoslavia for me.

Uk won for me, it was a nice small year with okay songs. But the uk and Luxembourg had the strongest songs, with 'hi' coming in my 3rd. I say nice little year, but I hated the stage, and the host wasn't that good. Could have been better, but it was good.

20- It's a good song, just forgettable 19- It's very catchy but repetitive 18- I thought it was cute and it made me happy 17- I didn't find this exciting 16- Our entry, a great song and it's another success for the UK 15- Underrated but not by lots 14- Heavily overrated, although it is sweet 13- My favourite, I go crazy every time I hear this 12- Pretty boring 11- It's a nice song but extremely repetitive 10- An overrated winner 9- A brilliant song, I do love Carola 8- Jahn's best. A fun and jolly song 7- Fully deserved 0 6- So did this 5- This is my biggest grower of the year 4- It's alright but pretty basic 3- Another brilliant Israeli song 2- It's alright, I like it but not as much as others 1- Not a very exciting song.
