I would have thought 2 British and 2 Ukrainian as hosts. The 2 British being Graham and Rylan. Put Rylan in the green room, then that leaves graham and 2 Ukrainian hosts on the main stage. For commentary I'd be happy with Scott & Mel

Should have been Sanina & Nata Zyzhchenko presenting, from Onuka. Seen mention of other Ukrainian bands coming over, but not Onuka which must be one of Ukraines most popular artists.

I mean.... I'm here for this! Much like 1998, the UK are really taking this year by the horns and shaking things up with some unexpected but well-thought out choices. Julia, Alesha and Hannah all are able to sing and can provide an electric opening of song and dance, and could provide a warm friendly balance (like Portugal's women line-up of 2018). Hannah. with her acting background is much like the addition of Pilou of 2014: unexpected to the majority of Eurofans but turned out to be a hit on the night. And of course we can't forget Graham tying up proceedings on the final! Of course him being so Eurovish-established means we'll see a lot of legwork from the all-women trio on Tue & Thu so it'd balance out by Saturday with three familiar faces + a well established name. Very keen to see how they'd split duties on the nights. All round, a solid cast - but bring on May so we'll see! Also, JUSTICE FOR AJ! However, I imagine she'd probably announce the points this year, it only makes sense!

AJ absolutely deserves to present the points but ngl part of me was hoping that Ulrikke Jonnson would get to do it so the hosts could ask if 1998 was a "long time ago".

I think people need to just chill a little for a couple days and not make immediate judgments about there being 4 hosts before actually seeing the show. 1. There will be 3 hosts for the two semis and then 4 for the final, not 4 for all three shows. 2. These are excellent hosting choices and there's a lot of potential for some great humour, performances, and camaraderie. The hosts are all very personable and warm people that viewers will likely find it easy to connect with. There were many options who would have been great hosts so just because your favourite person isn't a host doesn't mean things are a travesty. 3. People love to catastrophize things and/or based their preferences off of one or two specific examples instead of just waiting to see how things unfold. Most people who wish for just 1 host point to Petra, who was a fantastic host. Yet, there were MANY cases with just 1 host where the 1 host lacked the charisma and connection that Petra brings. People want another Petra but that's not realistic. 4. It makes more sense to have 3 or 4 hosts than 1 since you never know what can happen to someone's health or availability and we've very much seen this during COVID. If there is 1 host and they get sick or unable to host, then you have to panic and replace them and explain why a different person is now hosting. With 3 or 4 hosts you don't run into this issue.

I totally agree with you. I haven't heard of any of those hosts, except for Graham (I have watched some of his show videos on KZbin), so I don't keep any expectations except for the Eurovision itself in the UK.

Я маю велику довіру що до виробництва шоу. І думаю (навіть впевнена) що крім ведучих будуть інші згадки та номери в актах, що репрезентували б українську частину. Про ведучих: я, нажаль не знаю жіночу британську частину ведучих, а от деякі шоу Грема чула і мені здається він дуже дотепним, та чула що він великий фанат Євробачення. Сподіваюсь що наша Юлія добре почуватиметься у новій ролі ведучої, вона пречудова, та разом у четвірки вийде прекрасне представлення. Ще з приводу Тимура - у нас було всього два коментатора він та Сергій Притула- дуже різні навіть протилежні. Сергій зараз займається волонтерством, друга за величиною волонтерська організація щодо підтримки наших військових, зараз він відмовляється від жодного розважального контенту. Залишається Тимур, це так добре, хоч якась стабільність в цьому світі, не представляю нікого хто б зміг замінити його у коментарях зараз. У мене тільки хороші передчуття що до цьогорічного шоу. Так цікаво, що ж вигадають організатори!

I love eurovision and I love Graham Norton, I think he will add humour and british sensibility with that ironic humour. Graham Norton has said he is a big fan of the contest so I have faith my fellow Irish man.

a slightly-unbalanced presenting lineup (3+1 instead of 2+2), and I was a bit shocked for it. also, the emergence of Alesha and Hannah is so random (I mean, nobody expected them to co-present the contest, as there are a lot more people from the so-called "wishlist"). but, at least the most pleasing is seeing Graham and Julia. we know how experienced Graham is, and he will not be too disappointing. as for Julia, her English from the promotional video back at the end of January (at the allocation draw) is surprisingly so fluent (sounds like someone who has travelled abroad for quite-a-long time), especially considering that she is the only Ukrainian representative in the lineup, making me a bit more confident.

Julia speaks English fluently. Previously, her group HARDKISS had only English-language songs and most people in Ukraine didn't even know that it was a Ukrainian group.

Excellent choice to see Sanina presenting, but really would have liked to see Onuka/Nata Zyzhchenko come to the UK & showcase her music. Hardkiss & a few other bands have made a presence but Onuka really should come & tour the UK.

💙💛I wanted more Ukrainian hosts in the contest. Zlata Ognevich should have been a host. In the interval acts I want to see a tribute to Olivia Newton John who represented UK in 1974, performences from former Ukrainian ESC-participants and a performence from Cliff Richard would be fun.

I think four hosts is okay as long as its done well. I think my own country, the Netherlands, did a pretty good job with it. And one host is impossible nowadays I think, due to all the bits and pieces that are involved now in the show. Like mentioning of what is happening on social media. If one person would do all of this it will become chaotic very fast.

4 seems a bit too many, but it will depend on how they handle it. Personally I start ESC by questioning the number of hosts, but in the end it's the quality that is what affects me the most. If these four are given good material and does a good job together, then the fact that they are four is not going to bother me.

The point that Lucy made at about 13:40 is a really good one. I remember in 2021 Graham made a joke about Albania’s staging in the final which made it seem like Anxhela’s staging package was just one big fart joke. I laughed at the time but, looking back on it 2 years later, it completely took the artistry out of the staging which I think is kinda unfair. I would much prefer Rylan to do the commentary full time because he’s unbiased, respectful, and doesn’t mock the contestants at all. Just my take though 😅

So disappointed with these choices, as someone from the UK. As much as I love Graham Norton, I don't get the feel that he is totally invested or really does a lot of research into the competitors. Rylan, Scott, do so much more Does Hannah have any experience in presenting? Especially in terms of a live broadcast? No, not at all - that's really worrying, and we really don't know what enthusiasm she has for the contest. I'm British but have no knowledge of her. Seems she is popular from a show on Apple TV, but I wonder if that's just a nod to potential USA viewers. If it is, that's kinda sad. Really, really disappointed that Timur didn't get the nod as a prime host

Petra is gonna be hard to beat regardless. So lets not even compare. Though i think Netherlands could have gotten close to it, if they had used only Nikkie de Jager to present the show. I personally do like the line up. I would have preferred 2 from the UK and 2 from Ukraine, but it is what it is.

The U.K. is paying / hosting / it’s another ESC held in the U.K. Ukraine only won because of the sympathy vote. The fact there is a Ukrainian flag on the logo confuses me because it also contains “Liverpool 2023” last time I checked I don’t live in Liverpool, Ukraine. At least in 1998 neither hosts were born in the U.K. but they both had British citizenship

(As an Australian) The snide and bitchy Norton comments come across as sneering British cultural superiority ...I understand the 'cultural' context and tradition of this type of humour, but seriously in 2023 it is just not that funny or clever any more. Graham Norton should pull out from this. He was bad at Eurovision 50th anniversary, hosts didn't look natural but sounded scripted. He is great at his show but he is not right for Eurovision. I knew BBC will screw this up.
