I feel North Macedonia's performance is packed so well: its vibe is not made as 'Tamara singing in a contest' but 'Tamara doing a 3-minute solo concert in Israel' and that clicked for the juries. Plus, even if 'classic ballads' have been done 50x before, it's an everlasting style.

I was sayin N. Macedonia would do well all season.. People eorried it wouldn't qualify. 2nd in the semi, won the jury vote, highest finish of all time. Well deserved, and I think it's important to take the wind out of some of my fellow esc fans now and again. Ballads aren't all trash!

One thing I can't get about Eurovision fans is the way they judge the songs...Do you have any certain criteria for that? "You know, that song is too generic, this is not original" and then we've got Norway where's only one original part and the rest of the song is a mix of other songs like Finland 2018 for example but almost all the Eurovision fans scream about top 3... like... what? why? how on Earth?

Don't forget to react the TOP 5 very soon as well as the BOTTOM 6 next time. With your reactions I think North Macedonia and Norway should have ended up in the TOP 5 after winning the jury and televotes respectively. Norway were totally robbed in the jury whereas macedonia should have been in the top 10 of the televotes, so surprised they received 58 points from the public.

Thoughts... a month later! Iceland: I hoped it placed higher but 10th is a great stepping stone for the country. Please more Hatari entries and less Ari entries. Australia: it was all about the staging... and where she performed in the Final. Azerbaijan: still 3 minutes of beefcake. Too bad post-contest he came across a sore loser. North Macedonia: congrats on the jury win! I’m surprised it did so well with the juries. With that said, there is room for empowering ballads. Norway: congrats on the televoting win! It’s all about the joik!!!

Iceland: should’ve been higher deserved (1) Australia: deserved amazing staging (20) Azerbaijan: deserved for the end part alone (25) North Macedonia: deserved (14) Norway: should have been top 5 deserved (10) Sweden: deserved but it should’ve been 6th (17) Switzerland: I’m not sure it’s a great performance but everything screams Fuego too much. (I mean the song)(29) Russia: Deserved Amazing performance and Sergeys vocals were amazing (9) Italy: Totally deserved it, my 3rd I’m so happy he placed 2nd but he also would’ve been a deserved winner.(3) The Netherlands: the performance was Amazing I preferred 11 songs but he’s still a deserved winner. (12) Iceland is my winner but it was totally clear that they’d flop with the Juries, and top 10 isn’t bad at all. 🥳 My top 20 contains almost half of the non qualifiers which explains the low placements for some of these entries. I liked all of them though the top 10 could’ve been way worse. 😂

Iceland: Screaming guy sang the whole 2nd verse out of tempo, the falsetto guy sounded like a dying cat both in semi final and even worse in the final, sounded worse than Serhat actually. This whole thing relied on staging, the shock factor and their political trolling. As an ESC entry it sucked and it did not deserve the top 10 position. The juries for sure threw way too many points at this, how a bad live performance like this can get any points from professionals?
