Arunai just told the truth. EV industry has not grown.. it will not grow in the next two to three years. ரஷ்யா gives crude oil at very cheap rate to India now. Saudi will sell constantly for the next few years. After 3 years new technology will come replacing the current battery models. So EV will not growwwww

Look at monthly sales volume of EVs for 3 months and you will know how fast the market is growing. Even OLA crossed 1 Lakh vehicles less than a year...

@@Habibulla.M To see the market growth we should also see the market share in total two wheeler vehicle market. Now the trend is reversed. How does it add to the economy development of the buyer?. Calculations are not encouraging.

@@klmkt4339 Yes. But that ICE Market is there for decades together may be more than half century. EV has history of couple of decades. That too the support from Government is increasing only after 2020. I look this growth is good and will take over the ICE engine market in couple of years. What ICE did in 50 years could be done by EV in less than 10 year from now.... That way the growth is exponential...

@@Habibulla.M So the growth of EV market is not natural. Stimulant is there in the form of Govt Subsidy. The entire concept of market growth become futile when subsidy drives. Govt drives it because they want to buy another nuclear reactor from Russia. By fundamental concepts EV two wheeler market is a hype.

Very few companies are getting subsidy eligibility and the other companies still selling good number of non registered models... The entire local commute market can be done by non registered models. Whatever sales published are only of registered models . Non registered models sales numbers are in fact more and Govt and News media not interested in publishing it's information.

புரியாதவர்கள் அப்படிதான் நினைக்கிறார்கள்... புரிந்தவன் பிஸ்தா... நிறைய பணம் மிச்சம் செய்கிறார்கள்.... If charger is taking 10 Amps of 75 volt, it's 750 watts per hour. For 3 hours it will take 2250 watts. That is 2.25 units. Even if you take a higher tariff of 5 RS per unit, it will cost 12 RS approx for 3 Hour charging. If vehicle gives even a lesser range of 80 Km per charge. 12 Rs / 80 Km comes to 0.15 Rs. Per km. Cost... 15 paise per Km. Even if you charge in commercial tariff of 15 RS per unit, your cost is still 45 paise per Km. If you compare a petrol scooter, no scooter gives more than 45 km milege per litre. 105 Rs pet litre / 45 Km is 2.3 Rs per Km. So on net you are saving close to 2.15 Rs per Km by using an EV....Hope your doubt is clear. Even if the battery comes for a minimum of 40000 Kms you would have saved 86000 Rs. Even in case you have to change battery at 40000 Kms, battery price will not be more than 45000. You still save another 41000. Since service chargers are very negligible, it's a total win win for you. If you are planning for a EV buy the brand's which gives LFP battery. They have longer life. Close to 2000 Charging cycle. 2000 x 80 Km is 160000 kms battery life...Also LFP is safe and will not catch fire....
