I'm a 25 year veteran from Duncan Aviation in Lincoln, NE. I can firmly attest that jets work by making a loud noise behind the plane, the plane gets scared, and the plane goes forward. Everything else is a bold faced lie.

I just want to say WOW. This is some great editing. I bet it took a while to piece together every bit of this information to make this video….. Good job...

The compressor section is spinning the wrong way, but you have the turbine section going the correct way, but the turbine is missing the first stage nozzles. If you go through this much trouble to make an animation shouldn't you at the very least have it vetted by someone to ensure you haven't made an obvious error?

As a Mechanical Eng. grad but doing business in software, mechanical engineers are most underrated and under paid group of people in the earth. They make the magic and earn a moderate life.

I really love the upbeat attitude of the narrator. I bet there's nothing about turbofan and turbojet engines that doesn't fill him with joy.

Great video explaining the working principles of jet engines, however the title suggests that there would be an explanation on why an electric jet engine wouldn't work, and that would be interesting
