The new Netflix italian adaptation instead is a gigantic incomprehensible clusterfuck, that translates word by word keeping the japanese syntaxis, and using words that weren't used in italian since the times the divine comedy was written. And the angels are now called apostles, just because in the series they refer to them with the word "Shito" instead of "Tenshi". The old adaptation made in the '90s was excellent, but Netflix decided to make a new one, and just a week later, due to the masive backlash from not only fans, but everyone in general (the story ended up on major national newspapers), Netflix pulled back the adaptation, still now Evangelion is only available with subtitles.

To be honest the only reason he could have for continuing to pilot the Eva at this point is altruism, and the people in his life treat him worse than shit at every turn, completely destroying any altruistic tendencies he might have ever had. Also, the pilot feels everything that happens to the eva, so let's take a look at everything that has happened to him so far. He has had an energy lance pierced through his brain, he was thrown through the air and into a mountain, he has had his chest cavity completely melted, he has been pummeled to death on numerous occasions, and that's just the first few encounters. They are basically asking a 14 year old with PTSD to get over himself and get back into the literal source of his trauma because they don't want to die.

Hannibal Rasberry He was choking her as a symbol of being alive, it was his way of grasping his current reality and seeing if he was alive. He used her to confirm they both exist and she did the same when she caressed his check, she said disgusting because she found out he used her to masturbate when she was in LCL and they were all together. When she caressed him it was like saying I forgive you, he wasn't choking her to kill her and she knew that. The end might seem fucked up at first but it's actually quite beautiful.

I have no words to describe just how amazing this is. From the VA's beautiful job, to the intelligent and thought out narrative. The characters are very well written and the humor was so on point. You SHOULD DEFINITELY continue this series, it is the single best abridges series out there. I would gladly pay for more. 11/10 will rewatch again

tobanga feufeu I got this far by watching another parody of Evangelion and then saw this as a related video. Well the first part anyway. Then I watched the rest, and yeah. Actually a few factors have gotten me to want to watch a bit of anime, like the EPIC artstyle, pretty cool stories, etc, but I haven't gotten in to it yet. It's funny because I was playing Gmod Cinema and two guys were watching the end of their favourite anime and it was sad but yeah it was cool xD
