You wanna know my favorite thing about Evan and Katelyn? Their communication. Like, you know this isn't staged, you see the effort to stay calm when one frustrates the other. They acknowledge why the other would do something, meaning well, even while potentially messing things up because of it. They still venerate each other while still being able to voice their feelings in a healthy way. It's truly beautiful. Wouldn't it be grand if we all used this technique when communicating with others?

I think one of the most recognizable uses of lenticular lenses is making 3D and image shifting/animated art. If you've ever seen like a postcard that you can tilt and see different images or one where you hold it at a certain distance the image looks 3D, that's done with lenticular lenses! You can tell if you touch it and feel all those little bumps. They can come in all sorts of sizes too, from business card to poster. And it can also be fun to rub your fingernail back and forth along the bumps to get that distinct noise. For those curious, it's called Lenticular Printing and like most products there are places that specialize in making it.

@@Annie_Annie__ Slightly disappointing is that the terms are all folk names for plants. wool of bat is moss, eye of newt is wild mustard seed, toe of frog is bulbous buttercup leaves, and tongue of dog is hound's tongue (which still has an odd name as its common name). The fenny snake would be either a snake found in the fens or potentially a leech since they were commonly used as binding agents. One place tried to suggest it might have been a plant, but its one native to Northern America and not England where Shakespeare was from and so it was highly unlikely that it would have been a common enough known thing that a country bumpkin like Shakespeare would have known about it, let alone his audiences.

It's cold in the pressure pot because of all the pressure you just released. The same reason cans of compressed air get cold when you spray them. The air in the pot got warmer when you first increased the pressure. Then as it sat, that warmth dissipated to the room. So, when you finally released the pressure, the air inside the pot expanded and cooled to below room temp.

Cool. I knew about the temperature difference, but I didn't know, there was a word for it.
@polymathDIY2 жыл бұрын
@@raraavis7782 it‘s also quite easy to calculate the temperature when dealing with dry air: with the volume being constant, the pressure divided by temperature is equal in each states (state 1 at high pressure with p1 being the pressurised pressure and t1 being ambient temperature, state 2 being normalised pressure at p2 and t2 the colder air in the pot), so p1/t1=p2/t2 which solves to t2=p2/p1*t1. The hardest part is converting imperial to SI measurements (pascal and Kelvin respectively).

The pressure pot being cold after releasing pressure makes sense. When the air in the pot is compressed it will heat up a little bit (as there is more molecules of air with energy in a smaller space) but because the pot is metal, the temperature would equalise with the room temperature overnight. As the air decompresses it will be a lower temperature, and will cool down the metal pot slightly so it's still residually cold! This is roughly the basics to how the refrigeration cycle works in a fridge or air conditioner!

That's what things already do, this shows the back in decent detail so other things look invisible, if it worked both ways it would just be cloudy.
