Great band, unfortunately their stuff is tough to cover because he uses a special guitar and setup that allows him to switch tunings mid-song and a lot of their songs utilize it. It's almost impossible to replicate on a normal guitar.

Unless you're looking to monetize your covers then I wouldn't even worry about copyright as there's no way around it. Covers like this where you use the original track underneath almost always get claimed for copyright and all that does is it puts ads up on your video and the copyright owner claims the ad revenue off your video and in turn they allow it to stay up.
