Apart from the singles I really love "Hello" , it's sad and beautiful at the same time cause Amy wrote it about her sister who died when she was young. Other song I really love is "My Last Breath" which was inspired, if I'm not mistaken, by the 09/11 attack in US.

Evanescence was my JAM in middle school and probably will be when I’m in my 90s or later 😂. Love that you’re doing this. During COVID I’ve gone down this rabbit hole of watching video reactions from people who haven’t listened to Evanescence before (or songs that aren’t just their singles) and it’s so enjoyable to watch people go through the same reactions that I’ve experienced essentially my whole life. You are right. She harmonized with herself. She recorded (and still does) her own choruses but she asked her sisters to do it for The Open Door album and now she has her both guitarists doing it.

God, this was one of my favourite band's at 13. I hunted down all their earlier unrealeased songs, this album was on eternal repeat in the car, l even had to get the iconic eyebrow piercing to match Amy's. Amazing to listen back 15 years later as an adult and really appreciate how beautiful Evanescence's music is.

YES EVANESCENCE!!! My dad gave me Fallen for my 10 birthday. I'm 23 now and it's still one of my all time favorite albums I listen to it at least once a week on my drive to work!! 😎 You rock for doing this reaction man!! Definitely going to watch the whole series 🤘

My favorite reaction channel reacting to my favorite artist/album, I can't wait to see the rest 😁😁😁. This was THE album that introduced me to metal music, I used to listen to it on repeat on my walkman for hours on end as a kid. It's one of those "perfect" albums that I can't pick a favorite song because there isn't a track on here I haven't listened to on repeat 100+ times and fallen in love with. Haunted, Imaginary, and Taking Over Me are definitely some of the ones I listen to most though. Can't wait for the next video!

Going Under is my favorite Evanescence song of all time. I adore it so much. I’m actually looking forward to your reaction for Taking Over Me, which is a very close second favorite song from this album. It’s very underrated and incredibly passionate. Of course Amy’s voice just soars in it like always.

Probably my fav song off of Fallen, again the harmonic arrangement is genius at bringing out the best of Amy's incredible voice. My favorite part is the vocal bridge going into the guitar solo. Perfect interval choices, perfect dynamics, and incredible rhythmic timing hitting the solo coming off that bridge. It does exactly what great music should do, I was amazed to hear it my first time listening way back being quite the music snob and pretty much writing off post 2000 pop.

I love Evanescence and had the honor of meeting Amy and the band a few years ago. Another band I really think you should check out is ICON FOR HIRE, They aren't mainstream but they do have a huge following. They went independent and their fans helped finance their last album. There are three "Icon for Hire", "Scripted", and "You Can't Kill Us" plus an acoustic one called "You Still Can't Kill Us". The songs you should DEFINITELY check out are: "The Grey", "Happy Hurts", and "Hollow". Their music and Evanescene's helped me through a tough time after my brother and niece were killed in a head-on car wreck in 2014.

You're a sweetheart RE: the label adding the rap/metal part toward the end of the song, but remember this came out 2 years into everyone's frenzy over Linkin Park Hybrid Theory. In mainstream rock, that was what was selling. I remember in high school, everyone called Evanescence "Linkin Park with a chick" just based on this song."

Amy Lee (Evanescence) has been my favorite since they came out. I got the chance to finally see them live at a metal festival back in 2019 and legit cried most of the show I was so happy. Lmao!! They’re just as good live! You definitely should venture into their album “The Open Door” if not the whole album, at least the song “Lithium” or “Call Me When You’re Sober.”

They reworked it for Synthesis and cut out the rapper part. Amy used to not feel very happy about Bring Me to Life, but now she doesn’t feel negatively about it. She’s just moved passed it as a moment in her past
