She'll never get her due. She doesn't do rap crap with some tattooed out male singer. It's a sad state most rock music is in. No real talent out there for the most part. Just turn out crap and strut around 1/2 naked and you're a star. It's depressing.

I mean, you're not wrong about Amy, but wrong about the "not many singers can claim that" part. Yes, many singers can claim that. Do you have any frame of reference for how many singers exist in the world among 8 billion people? lmao
@ahmadhelmy_4 жыл бұрын
As a hardcore Ev fan, I actually disagree with the "singing the same notes live" bit. Amy used to be horrible live when she'd perform really heavy songs. Not because she's untalented, because it just doesn't fit her type of singing. THIS is what really brings her voice out, she hits too many high notes and runs that are incredibly difficult to perfect while moving around. Amy really worked on her voice too the past few years, she probably finally took some singing lessons to correct her singing technique 'cause it used to affect her voice on stage and she'd deliver HORRIBLE live shows.
@ranyadavid6983 жыл бұрын
@@ahmadhelmy_ come on ! She was jumping around and it affects his singing, she was extremely young also.a bad singer stays that way amy never was a bad singer he did not know how to control his performance at that time.

I mean, she is amazing in the studio and live (even better nowadays live, what with more training and experience), but I feel like the metal scene is full of amazing live vocalists. All of them also seem to have had some classical training, so that may also help.

i have been following evanescence even before their boom, back in 2000.. a friend of mine got the origin CD, downloaded from kazaa, and ever since that time, i fell in love with the band. Amy was in every stage of my life, present, with her songs. Thinking about how captivating was their music to me in that time that got me so drawn, that was not only because of her voice.. I knew that was not some symphonic metal band. It is just that Amy knew exactly how to dose the right amount of rock and symphonic melody into her music. I never stopped thinking about the possibility thay she would do material like this someday... my dream came true.. i was alive to see evanescence doing a project with an orchestra.
