I’ve been watching through all your zombie videos since BOPs 6 came out. Thanks so much to enlightening me and the entertainment. I’m 31 and played a lot of zombies with friends growing up but never really engaged with the Easter eggs. Took awhile off of COD and zombies for the most part of the last 7-8 years and after doing the Easter eggs in both BOPs 6 maps, I plan on going back and doing them all on the BOPs 3 remake maps. Your videos have a lot to do with me deciding that!

This was my first Easter egg that I did with my cousin back in 2011. It took us so long that we had to leave the ps3 on and get some sun light and come back to it later. One of my fave maps of all time and this really unlocks some core memories. Treyarch really went hard with these Easter eggs back in the day

People are never going to be as satisfied with zombies or am Easter egg for that fact because we're all fresh and we were all expiring it for the first time which created the magic. Its the same as destiny and most other games as a matter of fact we have been playing for grinding for so long and we have experienced the spine tingling new parts of all the missions and it just dulls down over time... Everything and I mean everything we had been experienced and so to get that feeling it falls on nostalgia and you can only do that for so long

Trivia Time: Despite having a lot of Na*i references and half of the maps being named in German, we Germans wouldn't be blessed with the zombie mode until Black Ops. World at War was simply left an inferior product in the realm of Germany and easter eggs were harder to pull off for a long time due to us not being able to destroy body parts and leaving a crawler. The reason was, you guessed correctly, protection laws. Especially when it comes to any kind of zombie game, chances are they never made it to Germany in the first place (Left for Dead, Dying Light) or were heavily toned down, sometimes even in the gameplay department. No, German adults are not allowed to make their own choices, we are allowed to work as a zombie until we die and resurrect from our graves as zombies.

I'm 89% sure George was hidden instead of despawned because the particle effects for him were pretty advanced for the time, and needed to be always rendered so the player didn't lag when he spawned.

I believe the BO4 Aether maps were more "reimagined" than "remastered" due to them having a different story, cast, and atmosphere than the originals. Even Classified which strayed the least from the original map, Five, felt completely different, although that might be for reasons than just story, cast and atmosphere, most notably the art style difference between BO1 and BO4. (When I mention atmosphere, I mean the actual atmosphere: time of day, weather conditions, and lighting. Just wanted to point that out because I feel as though some people might misinterpret art style as the atmosphere. And although the art style can have an effect on the atmosphere, they are both different characteristics of a map/setting).

this is a very nitpick thing evan, but i'd consider your friends telling you at the lunch table about even a raygun every time glitch being very believable in black ops 1 days. looking back on it now, yes, jimmy's easter eggs were so random and wacky but this directly fed into the atmosphere that black ops 1 zombies held. you were willing to at least try everything anyone told you is a thing back in BO1. case and point, jimbothy, although he really took off during BO2 zombies' cycle

Be interesting to see the video on buried. My team assembled from TTG 6 months before actually had what we though was worlds first. We absolutely beat NGT for a fact as spiderbite was messaging asking how we had figured out the puzzle on the roof opposite the saloon (Can't even remember what it was lol). After saying we wouldn't share tips (as he was apparently messaging lots of small streamers) he blocked us all haha
