I really think Evelyn did a good because she did not 1, not 2 but 3 looks with Grace's hair: the bantu knot with the extra laid edges lol (Grace's face when Evelyn used gel on her edges...priceless 😂), the bantu knots with the scarf to sleep, very retro chic. And last but not least, the bantu knot out. It looked a bit crazy with the different curl patterns but not necessarily unrealistic for a curly girl who has not found the right regimen and haircut to blend her different curl patterns.

The shade she threw about being able to feel her scalp easily was funny to be because it's a struggle to feel mine when I wash it lol. The bantu knot out didn't turn out too bad. I have 2b/2c(/3a) hair - although a LOT coarser than Grace's - and I LOVE Bantu knot-outs! I do them on dry hair, though, after my wash-n-go has gone a few days and gotten too frizzy/flat. I put in lots of leave-in and a bit of a liquidy hold product like Curlkeeper, do the knots while I'm watching TV, and sleep in them. The result is always super cute and bouncy. (I thought Grace's hair looked great, too!) I do them on wet hair because I have very thick hair and I'm pretty sure they'd never dry.

I enjoyed this video so much! In my culture with more fine waves and curls ,we have a similar style to the bantu knots, where we twist the hair pieces in the same manner and pin them in the same manner and call it "pin curls". My grandmother did my moms and aunts hair that way growing up, I just thought it was cool that different cultures can have the same type of style with totally different names. This is awesome I really really enjoyed the video.

Honestly what Evelyn said at first is soooooo true everyone thinks that wavy hair is so "easy" because its looser and you don't need as much product as curly girls BUT to those people that think that YOU HAVE NO IDEA how HARD it is to keep your WAVY HAIR WAVY, myself as a wavy girl has to scrunch my hair everyday and if i have 2nd or 3rd or even 4th day hair if i try to "refreshen" my hair and put too much product in my hair, my hair WILL be literally STRAIGHT until I wash my hair AGAIN, so this a lesson to all of you who think wavy hair is "easy" you cannot say anything about wavy hair unless you have it and same thing with curly hair and straight hair.

I straightened my friend's, who is black, hair and she straightened mine, I'm white. She did a amazing job on my hair and I learned how to section hers but it took forever for me and she ended up doing it herself. But the next time I did a better job.
