I almost cried when you brought out the lily of the valley, it was not just my grandma’s flower but her name as well. Her full name was Lillian but anyone who called her by her name always said either Lily or Lill. We lost her in 2012 due to complications from Alzheimer’s. It was unfortunately a long process that took her slowly from us, but I think of her almost daily, remembering the things that she taught not only myself but her 8 daughters, equal amount of son in laws, and her 38 grandchildren (not to mention the great grandchildren). My son especially was able to bond with her in the beginning stages of her disease, they would take long walks together and talk about everything and anything for hours. I miss her every day and am so grateful that she was not just a grandma but a mentor, a teacher, and a friend.

My 92 year old Mother lives with us and we LOVE watching you. You not only inspire with your passion and love for everything you grow but you are so fun to watch. A couple days ago my mom was talking about how she misses her Lily Of The Valley that grew along the side of our family home. She also remembered wanting them so much in her wedding bouquet, but could not find a florist who carried them. Shipping of course was not an option back then. She was so happy and surprised to see you with them in your video, since we were just mentioning them. It is one of those flowers no one seems to talk about on garden videos, so thank you, It made her smile. I promised her I will plant some in the Fall.

Here for my happiness fix! When I owned a custom picture framing store I had black velvet walls behind my frame samples. It really is a dramatic and elegant background for the "art" whether it's paintings or flowers :) It's also wonderful with your pretty face and blue eyes :)

Oooo! I liked the one customer's idea of a rolling bouquet bar. You could take it on the road lol. When you really want to sale like the tulips that are aging. Just pull up to a populated spot and whip em out lol. The flowers 💐were amazing.

I'm so happy your bouquet bar did well! I know what you mean about hesitating to plant things out. I feel like it went from being too cold at night for tender annuals to too hot to plant out fragile seedlings in the span of a week. I planted out a bunch of lupine and some alyssum at the bottom of my driveway. I'm not worried about the lupines because they are sturdy little things but I put rocks next to all of they alyssum to give them a little bit of extra shade so they don't just wither up and die. I'm watering everything like crazy but I've lost some of my seedlings that were still in 6 packs. They dried up. Brad Pitt is talking more and more on camera! Baby steps!
