I was like Matt, didn't want a puppy because I've always had cats. Seeing his experience with Kiki made me want a dog and we got one yesterday! My 11-year old daughter has been asking for a dog pretty much since she could talk and I've always said, "We'll see," so it was a huge surprise to her and it's been lovely! We are working on her doing her business outside, crate training, manners, all of that. ♥ So thank you for the inspiration and for encouraging me to go for it!!!

I love your day kiki reminds me lve mine l had a maltese cross pom and she was a girl too had her for years and she was old and was sick l had to put her down it broke my heart. My daughter struggled in school practicing for her sats but our school was really good, but first parents evening they basically told us they don’t think she’ll pass her maths and her English isn’t great either, they gave her extra time to complete the exams and supported her in the areas she struggled with (they are only aloud to give so many children extra time). All we did was print off all the past papers and she did 15-20 mins every night and increased to a timed paper a night before her exams. I’m lucky as her dad is really good at maths but there were times we had to google how to work something out 😂 She passed her maths and English! And now she’s in high school in year 9 and she is in top set for English and is doing really well in maths. our high school is really good as well, the support they give to children these days is really good and they continually do assessments throughout the year to determine what level they are at and if they are falling behind or struggling they put inclusions in place within their time table to help support with this. My son has just started high school this year and didn’t do his sats due to Covid but the high school again have just done assessments and putting extra support in place for the children that need it. Extra Tutoring is very good if it gives the children more confidence, but high schools are fab these days, well with my current experiences anyway. Hope this helps x
