We get smoke from Central America here in Texas as it was terrible last week. It lasts only a couple of days and the wind changes. We also get sand from the Sahara (no shit) that blows across the Atlantic certain times of the year.

I had to look at my Trip Advisor reviews from 2012 (I no longer use Trip Review to share reports) but My Place Lounge on Loi Kroh Rd I watched the Giants play and win the playoffs and 2012 World Series there over breakfast. At the time an American co-owner. I also had my first kidney stone in Chiang Mai so can recomend the private hospital.

@@SM68Pete There no fun. I hate to say it, but you get used to them. I'll feal the twinge of back pain, drink a gallon of water and out in comes. Maybe a half a hydrocodone. I stopped with the ER after stone 2 or 3. I even passed a 13mm stone. They say 8mm is the limit. The 13mm took 3 weeks to pass. Scheduled for surgery and I passed it the night before. But a 3mm or 4mm I passed one time with zero pain. If kidney stones are my worst health issue, I'm lucky. At age 57 I've had more than a few buddies die. Cancer, heart, etc..
