Frozen middle aged man in a tent eating breakfast..."In Mexico they do have stuff like this anyway, so, I ain't far off am I ?" I want to see you out on the moor with a mule wearing a Sombrero in future, for that authentic Pennine Mexican feel...and Leon dressed as Yule Brinner to. Not been able to get out for a camp since Norfolk so great to see you are out and about...One of us will phone the other sometime, lol 🤣😂

This brought back so many memories ref eating Ration Packs in the Army. There are also different varieties of them too with different meals,drinks,deserts,biscuits. Incl hot /spicy curry ones, with rice separate,full breakfast etc. You can also eat these cold if need be.. I'm always on the look out for these to buy for camping. Where u get urs from mate? Also yes that trekking pole tip fr bobcat works,i saw it another video.

Hi again Mik, ahh good stuff mate, yeah I really liked this one, still got all the drinks to have apart from the hot chocolate which was just the best! They sound yummy, I'll get some more for sure pal. I was very kindly given it from my mate Ginger, he's such a kind soul. Yeah that trekking pole tip is fab isn't it. Thanks again mate

Great wild looking camp and I have nothing but respect for that Bobby although the Peaky blinder 2 is like a mansion. Those ration packs look half decent apart from the seed bar aka trill. Tha is for sharing adventures and is that trekking pole trick as good as doing that mod putting 2 more guys points on the back. Keep up the good work lads

Thanks Andrew, yeah I like it up there, just you and the wind although I deer did make an appearance 😀. Yeah strong as you like the Bobcat isn't it. Haha yes it a big bugger the Naturehike bud. Yeah I like these packs, I'll certainly try and get some more at the price too if I can. Yeah Leon said it worked a treat with the walking pole mate. Big thanks buddy!

Thanks for the reply as always pal. Yeah Lancashire is a great place. I love fairsnape fell And Paddy's pole my local jaunts. Think I may try the trekking pole trick then although I don't have one but I think I prefer that idea compared to the stick on mods as I do fear they will pull off or damage the fly sheet if it does pull. Hey man no problem at all, yeah l like it up your neck of the woods pal. I'll have to do more exploring around there. Yeah I don't really fancy sticking anything on the Bobcat, I'll have a blast with the pole myself, see if it keeps it held off. Thanks pal

Enjoyed that Ant, literally food for thought! Quite like the cloud up 2, I cant decide whether to stick with my Rakoon and a tarp and bivvy in summer, or invest in something else. Love your wild camp locations, I always opt for the Peaks but I should have a gander at the Pennines.

Hi Phil, thank you matey. Yeah definitely give them a try if you've not already dude. Yeah I was actually in the Cloud Peak 2 mate, very roomy just very darn flappy in the wind! I've got a new tent on the way in April so many have a butchers at that before you commit to buying something pal. Yeah the plan is to actually venture into the Peaks more this year. Do you have any interest locations that aren't the norm or basically not seen on KZbin? I fancy a fresh place to try out that isn't used lots. Cheers pal

yes thats wot i take with me on winter camps is the sleeping bag liner there really usefull because as you know ant its allways seems to be colder than the weather says yes good bit of kit and i would still rather be in the cloud peak than the bobcat another one i was looking at getting ant
@AntSurviveTheNight
@AntSurviveTheNight 3 ай бұрын
Yeah definitely, I would always take a liner or a fleece just to keep the bag clean but that extra warmth is welcome too. I would hands down choose the Bobcat over the Cloud Peak any day mate especially through the winter months 👍
