So fucked up. My sis & I saw this tour in Vancouver (Jan `98), seated in the same spot where whoever is filming this was situated (in comparison). 4 months later, my sis died & Everclear now forever has a special place in my heart. This vid gave me goosebumps.

Touring percussionist Brian Lehfeldt. I believe he played tambourine, shakers, crash cymbal and snare. Officially only a 3 piece band at this time, they also used Stephen Birch on guitar and James Beaton on keys as touring musicians, to have a fuller sound. The Afterglow album is where Everclear started using loops and keyboards and as on Sparkle and Fade, continued using many guitar parts, so these guys helped replicate those sounds.

Who's the guy in the back next to the drummer? He's hitting something?
@pinku7084 жыл бұрын
Probably a tambourine.

Good musical thinking. Thanks for the info. Were you still a fan after Afterglow? Their sound hcanged so much after that.

I was and am still a fan, even with changes. I do think their best albums are the big ones that everyone knows, but I found plenty to like on Slow Motion Daydream and even Welcome to the Drama Club ('06). Their latest album comes out June 26 and it sounds like somewhat of a return to the "classic" Everclear sound on several songs. Check it out for yourself on iTunes or Amazon and see what you think.

It would be neat for some geeky reason if the person who filmed this found this and said hi. haha
