Suggestion about bringing 2 pillow cases is a good one - just might prevent getting head lice. LOL How effective were the solar panels that were attached to the back of your backpack? Very impressed with the clothing that you chose to make the trek.

Yes! Day pack ( around 30 litter ) should be fine. And for the shoes, my team wore alpine hiking shoes but not necessary. You won't step on that much snow during trekking. Happy trails :)

Thank you for this beautiful and concise video I find very interesting and useful. We are leaving next month on this same journey. Is there anything you wish you knew before heading out on the trek? What did you find the most difficult part of the journey and one advice you’d give your followers?
@jinsjewelry Жыл бұрын
Hi, Nilofar Thank you for your kind comments. You might say this sounds funny but buy enough toilet paper for the entire trekking in low elevation. ( or bring it from your own counrty) when u have to spend $5 for a very low quality small roll, you will understand what I mean ;) And try to avoid any unfiltered water or tea. I bought bottled water yet still got sick :( It wasn't a pleasant experience. Exchange money before traveling is a smart idea, too. If you exchange it through your guide or at hotel, your dollar looses its value about 20-30% And one last thing, walk slow. This schedule made to focus on getting used to the altitude. You don't need to rush. Just enjoy the scenery 😉 Best of luck to you and Happy trails 👣 😊

Plan and prepare your trek, get permits. Fly to Lukla from Kathmandu. Start trekking, pass through villages and bridges. Take acclimatization days in Namche Bazaar and Dingboche. Reach Everest Base Camp and explore. Hike to Kala Patthar for stunning views. Descend back to Lukla. Fly back to Kathmandu.
