Even if they built the park in the desert away from everything they would still have to comply with safety regulations and have some steady non flickering light. They do a good job minimizing it, except for at Christmas.

We also get a lot of people coming here for the skiing. This season has apparently been fantastic. Though I'm too poor to ski, so I wouldn't know from personal experience. Also camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, etc. in the summer months. It's really easy to get outdoors here. One reason I like living in Utah. Southern Utah also is fantastic, red rocks, Arches, Bryce Canyon, Zion's National Park, etc. And Moab.

I just found out about this park on KZbin. I would won't to go visit, when they become a little more advanced in there quest. I would won't to be a Druid or Ranger character. Maybe in the future, they could have attractions were people actually slay animatronic monsters and dragons!

The technology is coming... First thing that popped into my head is a Pokemon go type game available in the park (like the Disneyland app), where you would use your phone to fight dragons or orcs in the quests. Maps, inventory, etc. Dress up in character and it's the perfect LARP. P.S. and Thumbs Up for Chobot. ;-)

So I live not too far from Evermore and I want to go so bad! I have a running gag of building characters out of existing characters from various franchises. I've played a Goliath cleric based on Thor, a sorcerer based on an OC, and an aarakocra fighter based on Bumblebee from his new movie! It's pretty fun and I'd recommend the experience to anyone!

So, so true. I love the concept, but asides of the promising NPCs, the colorful LEDs kinda kill the gothic mood. They should've done it with electric torch/candles instead. What we see here is a rather typical asians' region parks at night minus the NPCs.

Lol... and they're not entirely un-wrong. ;) But Utah is frequently ranked the geek capital of the country. We have the 3rd largest and fastest growing comic con in the world here. We have a plethora of high tech start up companies all over. Halloween is a massive industry here with some of the top-ranked haunted attractions in the country. The VOID is here (this same guy actually). And Evermore is a crap ton of fun. It's basically as much fun as you're willing to have. It requires you to let go and just live in the moment and have fun with it. I'm 10 minutes from it and my office is actually across the street. It's basically the game Myst. You're dropped in to this place and you don't really know what's going on so you start exploring and talking to people and discovering the world around you as you become part of it.

First off they capitalize Evermore, Taylor's is not, her album is "evermore". Also, she is not in direct competition with them, she does not own a park similar to theirs. Lol! This is actually in my backyard. The park has been in the works for the last decade. I remember hearing about it when it was first proposed. Then there were some setbacks, then it was going to just be The Void, virtual reality. Then they brought back Evermore. As far as Utah, we have a pretty sizable nerd community here, which is what made this happen. Plus the tech scene is really booming as well. The only other place I could see coming up with an Evermore-like park organically like that is maybe Silicon Valley. Doubtless many people will try and copy it now though.
