Anguish bp for a warrior is a must imo, and can help in your line of finish the fight, composite, roaring shield. It has a very similar effect.

To improve your warrior's avoidance/mitigation above and beyond the abilities look into the Stone of Judgement from Plane of War (dodge+10% type 3 aug) and The Tears of Alaris (Defense +5% type 3 aug from Shards Landing) I noticed on your magelo those are missing. I play Xenlaten GroundBeef on BB since 2001. Raided for years but only group now. both are moloable augs but are quite time consuming.

Nice. Yeah I'm not raiding anymore. You're absolutely right about Stone of Judgment. I've got it on my bard and SK. We'll have to group up sometime. Tears is excellent too. Need to do that on my SK. He's at 1% now.

what are you using instead of hot bars i see they are labled 1-0, - and = - that is not the standard hot bar? i love it

I am using the standard hot bars, but I've resized them. And I've also made the keys (1-0, -, =) visible. You can do that by right clicking on the hot bars and then dropping down and checking the correct box. Hot Bar 1 has the 1 through 0 and -, = key triggers, but you can add triggers for your other hot bars. In my later class setups, I've started standardizing on a number of hot bars with triggers for spells and actions.

Why aren't new people trying eq. Sees the 72 abilities on the hot bar. Yeah maybe not

Lol. Yeah, I remember EQ before AA abilities. Almost peaceful, albeit slow. We had five minute med breaks. Now it constant pulls and you're always pushing buttons if you want to max your capabilities. Insane. But I'll keep playing.

Which tank do you prefer more? War or Sk? I want to start a little trip team and would love advice

In the group game, the SK is the clear choice. Also if you want to solo, SK is clearly the choice.

If I wanted to min max, SK, Shamen, and Bard are very strong. Then you can use 3 rogue mercs. Bard is very easy to box. Other combinations can work. But that's a very strong core group. The Bard and Shamen epics add a lot of ADPS to a melee base group. I can box the Zlandicar mission with that group and handle any non mission group content. I find all three fun to play alone and they synergize nicely. But you can make other combinations work. If you want to raid, you'll need to find out what classes your guild wants. Then you may build a group around your raider.

Warriors are only good for tanking raid bosses. SKs are awesome in any other tank setting, it is not even close.

What do you recommend for slot 5 augs?

Whatever I say, it's going to be controversial. But my first point is whichever Heroic Stat you choose, commit to it as the goal is to get get over the next point. For a long time, raiding warriors recommend Heroic Agility. For group warriors, the fairly clear choice is Heroic Dexterity and that's my recommendation. Heroic Dexterity helps both survival and DPS. In the group game, heroic dex gives you the most bang. There is another option that some raiders choose and that's Heroic Stamina. In terms of what top warriors choose, from Magelo rankings, it seems to be divided between hdex and hagi as to what they choose. Again, I prefer Heroic Dex, but I don't raid on my warrior and I love more DPS.

I just hit 120 on the SK. So far, he's tanking fine. But I need to do some more named fights to see if there are any changes. This set up let me solo some COV nameds. But I'm still rehearing for TOL.

What hero stat should I stack i hear stam and agi others say dex and agi. I just wanna dw group content

As a warrior, I recommend heroic dexterity if you're not going to be raiding. If you're going to be a raid warrior, then heroic agility is the usual recommendation. With heroic stamina as your backup option. You'll get different recommendations, but I think HDex gives the most bang for your buck in group content assuming you have enough hit points to live through AEs etc.

Agi effects avoidance ac. This is mostly dodge. You can't dodge raid targets Dex effects parry, riposte,crits and procs. You can't parry or riposte raid mobs. Stamina effects hps. Are you a meat shield with tons of hps? Agi is probably best in group game. Just not getting hit is superior to having 50k more hps. ( especially when mobs hit for 50) Dex if you want some defensive and offensive. Sta if you want to be a big old raid tank that just absorbs blows
