I used to farm ToFS back in the day. Brings back a lot of memories.

Did the zone in era with pally/druid/bard trio on Mischief. All three entered low 30’s, when the storms outside started greening out. All three wearing Kunark class gear and some planar. Leveled really fast on the second floor until mobs stated conning light blue. Exp slowed down on the third floor due mostly to sparse mob numbers and long respawns. Fourth floor was a little better for exp, but much harder than the previous floors. Higher floors were less about exp and more about finishing and getting the hell out of there. For the best and most efficient exp gain, stay until stuff start becoming green in the library then move on to another zone. Should get you to 40 or so rather quickly. Named were no problem except for the three with the spin stun. Killed the first two but just couldn’t beat Tserina via tank/spank. I don’t remember how exactly she finally died but I recall a frantic Zerg of chain stuns/roots, Druid DoTs, charmed pet, and ranged/spell attacks. We came in low 30’s, stayed about six hours, and were all low 40’s by the time everyone got keyed to the seventh floor to take on Tserina. Group wiped three times, once on the second spin stun named, twice on Tserina. Had a pocket ench and cleric to rez and keep everyone buffed. Both the ench and cleric got the Tserina key (opens all floors) by killing some other mob thanks to Mischief loot rules. Stayed around for a chance at the snare whip for the pally and it actually dropped! Otherwise, we should have left about 3 hours in when the second level greened out.

Haven't played much in ToFS on Oakwynd but its is a great place to level for sure, especially if you are self powering :P

OMG, i didn't realize EQ was still playable. I started to play just before Velious came out and it feels life a lifetime ago, this video takes me back, thank you :)

Love ToFS. Never beaten Tserina. She is a very under conned mob. I have been there will full grp of 60's and she wiped the floor with us. She charms, which makes her a royal pain.

Man, I really like this zone. Some of the encounters are really maddening, but this zone is SO INTERESTING. It's too bad that the loot kinda sucks and a lot of it is No Trade (although this is LESS of an issue on Oakwynd! WOO!). I think my favorite item in this zone is the Ceremonial Wedding Sword; great for tanks who want to soft tank things and not Riposte! Anyway, I did do this whole dungeon crawl on Yelinak, but I did it in like the PoP era, so it was mostly pretty easy to beast my way through it on my 65 raid geared Beastlord. But I've never done the entire zone in-era with a level-appropriate group.

I did it in era with my guild, sortof a mini-raid. And I've done it on the TLP's as well. Such a cool zone, with interesting secrets. Always liked it since Velious released.

3-4 of us were the first group to clear TOFS when Velious was originally released some 20 years ago on our server. Amazing zone, except for the fact that the drops suck !#@$ compared to the effort needed. The 'story' line to reach the top was absolutely amazing, everything about it was great, except for the drops. The time and effort vs rewards made this zone worthless.
