If only things were like this now. Lawro scissor kicking Richardson and getting away with it! Ratcliffe smacking CJ to the floor and CJ kicking him in the nuts😄 Reds and Blues sat side by side. After watching Richarlison rolling on the floor holding his head all game at Anfield last season and Pickford time wasting it makes you long for these days. To be fair Everton became a top side and had a decent 3-4 year spell 1984-1987. Sharp was a great striker. It does make me think of McMahon scoring against Everton there in the 85/86 season though, Kenny scored a cracker about 10 seconds after kick off that day.

His alias was torchy the battery boy even his own manager called him a headless chicken.l once saw him play in an Everton liverpool reserve game at goodison it was beyond embarrassing how shite he was that night,l could not believe this guy was a pro footballer, he spent most of the game arguing with Howard Gayle who was a teammate of mine before he signed for liverpool, Howard won that one johnstone shit himself and was later subbed off,sorry Dave this guy was awful to watch but could run a LOT.

Johnston was the scruffier most awkward footballer ever,l thought he was shite he just ran a lot and was very lucky to play in a good liverpool side, p.s. Kevin ratcliffe was a nightmare for us whenever we played this lot it was like playing with 10 men he just fell apart when he saw rush anywhere near him.

Paisley wanted a mixture of violin players and road sweepers. Paisley even called him the 'headless chicken'. Johnston provided energy, work rate and a distraction for defenders. Apparently his fitness levels were off the charts. He came into the team and scored 7 times in 20 games and added vitality.

That ridiculous lst goal sums up everton against these spawney bastards over the last 50 years,l would never put a penny on us to ever beat these as they really do have us in their back pocket ,always have some of the games they have beaten /nicked off us were ridiculous/farcical.
