I can't wait for the full thing. BBT was always the best out of thymed events in my opinion, and zombies are basically on par with ones that are in actual worlds, both mechanically and visually. But it was always limited by being just a thymed event, I'm very excited to see reflourished team bring us most likely the best version of it, especially after making the best version of steam ages out there. I'm also eager to see the music, with how amazing holiday mashup and steam ages were I can only guess how well they can use the whole "haunted carnival" motif.

I think Solar Sage would fit a carniv world, carnivals often have fortune tellers or other kinds of seers there and Solar Sage would make sense to be one of them.

It is really cool to see the Reflouished devs take the Big Top and make it something bigger and better. Because yeah, it has a whole host of Zombies and even a Zombot, so why not use it as the base for a new world? Plus, it just adds more variety to the adventure, we'll get some new amazing music, and we get to see (potentially) more plants locked in the Chinese version given new life (I am crossing my fingers for Magic Mushroom, as you said Flag).

Fun fact: carnie twins have a ludicrous 450 eat DPS. I don't get why modern popcap OK'd this *AND* the toss to column 3 in vanilla. I also wish to say, thank you for the genuine positivity towards CC! We're spending all the time we can to make sure its as high quality as possible, so stay tuned! EDIT: Rock Carrier is based off Healer, so it comes with the lovely bonus of "can't be transformed by Solar Sage" that we can't get rid of due to hard code.

Like the new plants that will probably be added. Solar sage makes a lot of sense especially since this is based off a carnival. So what do you usually have at a carnival?fortune tellers. Along with balloons(boom balloon flower). Also plants like explodo vine,blastberry and bombagranite make sense as well as there are usually stuff like explosions at a carnival. So I hope to see them tied to this world

Honestly, I think Cotten candy zombie should give the zombies a speed boost instead of giving them more health. As not only does it make more sense, because Cotten candy is sweet and sugary. But I feel like it would also make him much more of a threat, because in his current state he barely feels dangerous at all. Though, a speed increase definitely would need to be carefully balanced as to not make it too frustrating. Especially sense this isn’t going to be a 5/5 difficulty world (at least, I’m pretty sure it isn’t going to be that) Definitely really excited for this world though, as the Backyard Bigtop set always had the best zombies, at least to me. And the Artwork and animations on the new Zombies look as clean as always! Hyped to play this when it comes out. :)

While I do think (music wise) Altverz’s Bigtop theme is the best theme for Backyard Bigtop, I’m sure Caliginous Carnival’s will do good. (Though we did get a teaser as to what instruments it will use judging from the key teaser, and it sounds great!) Update: with the reveal of Caliginous Carnival’s ost during the dev diary, I can absolutely confirm its theme is just as great!

AltverZ’s Backyard Big Top theme basically just a Grasswalk variant. So the Caliginous Carnival theme must be new and standalone (except the unused UB and DMG soundtrack).

I just played the recent PVZ2 train your plants thing and something stupid I noticed was that during the train the snap dragon levels, the setting was frostbite caves and for some reason level three had the Wild West zombies in it. It hat the cowboy zombies, the prospector zombie, and the pianist zombie while also having waterlogged tiles. Popcap logic 101 at its best. It was during this that I also noticed that apparently Lily Pads are invincible on these waterlogged tiles? I watched a pianist steamroll a rotobaga but then left the lily pad I placed it on perfectly fine. (Don’t ask why I run rotobaga with lily pad, I brought guacodile as my man attacker for that level. I know rotobaga can fly over waterlogged tiles.)

I have a feeling the Zombot will be a Clown Car. There are so many cool ideas I could see with that concept as well. (Slightly) Weaker destructive capabilities for smaller hitbox and increased affinity for summoning zombies (who knows, maybe Dr Zomboss figured out how to store large amounts of zombies inside a pocket dimension inside the car utilizing portals from the eternal holiday incident...)

He throw any weapons he juggles on plants (the torch will instantly burn plant, the bomb will stun plants in 3*3 area) Brain Vendor from PvZ Heroes Elephant Tamer Zombie (this Zombie takes inspiration from Mammoth Rider Zombie, a boss zombie from Prehistoric World in PvZ All Stars. So he must be a mini boss in this mod. Along with Ringmaster Zombie)
