Just to clarify..... Squash Plant Food Doesn't Target Random Zombies..... It actually targets the Zombie With the Highest HP on the lawn and that also includes the armor but if there's multiple copies of a zombie in the lawn THEN THERE it will be Random

Pea Pods having the ability to grow new heads is actually a really cool idea. One of the rare times an upgrade has an ounce of creativity. I’m not sure if it’s that good of one, but the concept is there.

I noitced a trend with leveling in pvz2c Level 1 is basic plant Level 2 is some sort of bonus ability Level 3 makes that bonus ability better Level 4 has a chance of plant food upon being planted And level 5 os somesort of a upgrade to random element of a plant

Even more baffling is that the split pea's two-hat costume has the colors mismatched compared to the heads. the blue hat is on the forward-facing fire pea-shooting head, and the red hat is on the backward-facing snow repeater head.

They should just create a new pea projectile that acts like a fire pea AND an ice pea. It has the blue slowness but also deals the fire damage and the slowness doesn't cancel out from heat.

4:18 Nah, i can see the logic there. Fire peas in front because front is basically a normal peashooter and firing flame peas fixes it's lack of power, meanwhile snow peas in the back to slow the flank zombies (you know, prospectors aren't the only ones who can get behind your plants. So your idea with snow peas in front just to extinguish prosper's dynamite before he jumps - meh, too niche of a use), so they would eat less of your plants before dying.

The reason why Jalapeno, Imitater, and Squash are part of Wild West is because in the old old version of PvZ2 International, these are premium plants that were part of Wild West. Idk about Threepeater though since that's a Pirate Seas plant but hey Lightning Reed and Tall-nut are a part of Pirate Seas even though they are a Wild West plant.

I think the reason ponchos with grates can survive squash and chili bean is because the one with the grate might be seen as two zombies, such as whenever it has the poncho, it's a zombie that if you kill, it spawns another zombie (the one without the poncho and has a grate). I dunno if this is true though Edit: i think this is also what's happening with sarcophagus and shell

I know you mentioned it but the split peas having their pea effects flipped just feels right and it is actually upsetting it doesn’t work like that. Whoever was coding the peas must have either confused themselves on which side would have the effect or was playing the cruelest joke imaginable upon anyone who knows the purpose of the plant. The split pea could have been PERFECT.

Winter melon freezes different zombies because (I’d assume) it just checks for which zombies took damage, including splash damage, and then calculates the 7% to freeze. So sometimes the zombie that was directly hit gets the 7%, and sometimes it’s one of the ones that received splash damage that manages to hit the 7%

The fact that gas is purple and poison is green makes me think they mistakenly inverted the colors. Also how could fire and ice projectiles being mixed miss in this series? Chili bean seems quite weird to be honest, why should they make his health higher? And about that weird behavior of chili bean, it could be because the zombies bit it at the same time and they all got affected by the gas.
