Before any of you get any ideas, this video was recorded months ago. This was before Death Battle's kickstarter and especially return, both of the show and the casts. This only goes up to a certain point, but got delayed because KZbin randomly hit the video with monetization issues not long ago after being fine for a while, and I just didn't get around to having a free slot in my schedule to put it out. So it's coming now while I get the Omnicock review down.

2:34:29 there was a major Daredevil storyline where he was the main villain and nearly drove completely insane to the point where he almost killed a baby after he was convinced it was the spawn of Satan, only being able to come to his senses at the last second, and also had a story in the start of the Nick Spencer run where he made a whole alien invasion illusion and defeated the X-Men, The Avengers and other hero in the Marvel universe except for Spider-Man who was able to stop him, and also he was the catalyst for the old man Logan by making him kill the X-Men with an illusion. Also, he was the main villain of Spider-Man shattered dimensions, and has memorable or major appearances and basically every piece of Spider-Man media, like in cartoons or video games

Apparently I need to pitch my idea to the community, then? We've had Magneto and Dr. Doom face off against guys, but trying to find someone for Kingpin has been difficult because he obviously stomps the hell out of some of his analogues (like Penguin), so I'm a fan of someone who can *take* a hit and keep coming -- Dick Tracy. Of course, Tracy's entire thing is that he *will not use his gun* unless he thinks he is in mortal danger, so how much of a beating -- from Wilson freakin' Fisk -- would he have to take before he actually thought his life was in danger? He's survived explosions and even took a sniper bullet to the dome (all it did was knock him out), so if Fisks' fists actually started to make Tracy think he'd need to use his gun, then he'd *immediately* put him down. But would he survive that LONG is the question. Also, "Hero Detective" vs. "A Criminal Kingpin (duh, it's his nickname)" would be suitable for "here's why they are fighting".

So yeah, as i've been saying a couple of time with potential DB matchups, Tifa vs Makoto Niijima is my all time most wanted Death Battle. I am also pitching this matchup further to keep driving support for this fight. So, I'm glad to see it tiered here and not put down by you two So, two female martial artists with a strong sense of just for doing the right thing from the death of their respective fathers. Joining a vigilante group to take down a higher power. Both having altercations with a crime boss. Ending up defying destiny and taking down a god level threat. Not to mention similar appearance and personality along with similar relationship to the protagonist. Explosive fighting style mix with magic, having access to summons. Imo, would be a cool unique fight to see Funny enough, they completely nailed it with my reasoning for why this should happen. Tifa in my opinion is the most deserving female Death Battle combatant to come back. While Makoto and how unique her persona is and has a lot of interesting story to tell would be fun on Death Battle. So two birds with one stone Now, I do agree with the team when they said this should wait till the final Remake of FF7 comes out in 4ish years

@@StarScreamsalot I highly recommend looking into Necron lore. It’s one of the more concise and interesting in 40k. I definitely think that this is the best matchup I’ve heard for the Daleks as a race, as the Necrons match the vibe of genocidal endless robot army with various ways to bend time and space to their whims through technology. Plus I think the Daleks unique personality (from what I’ve seen of Doctor Who, only the 9th and 10th doctors so far) would bounce off well of the aristocratic, “above-it-all I’m better than you”, air that the Necron lords can have.

When it comes to King in death battle, I really think there is no better matchup than vs Tiger Mask. Like, I love Incenaroar (party due to the Tiger Mask inspiration and it being a wrestling tribute), but King vs Tiger Mask feels like THE matchup for them.

Only partway through the episode (will likely update comment later) but I invented Maul vs Atriox (Halo) which is pretty good and only using canon maul the daleks should fight the Vex from destiny. Arbiter vs Wrex is actually a bit more interesting and connects more. but I personally like Thel Vadam vs Din Djarin nick fury jr vs james bond could be neat Mr Incredible vs Wild Tiger (Tiger & Bunny) is a matchup i am pitching to death battle i kind of want red lantern supergirl vs beast gohan. but it doesn't start as that i don think the inhumans are really cool, and they technically predate the xmen in the comic appearances. lucy vs Bishamonten (noragami) i think is really neat. I think Cinder Fall should fight Asajj Ventress xehanort vs mechikabura from DBH is neat. plus organization 13 vs the demon gods. I wish hordak was as popular as skeletor. chaos vs zygarde is a MILLION TIMES BETTER shame soul caliber hasn't gotten on again. kenpachi should definitely get on I want erza to come back. heck i was hoping for erza vs zoro as the remake

Since its definitely not in this tierlist. I know a lot of people aren't fans of Junko VS Springtrap but unironically I think it's Springtrap' best match up. It's absolutely a stomp in Junko's favor but so is a lot of episodes. It's really thematic, it's conceptually ridiculous which is both these franchises in a nutshell, and having Springtrap fight a teenage girl is already way more interesting of an idea than having him fight another mascot or monster. The dialogue between these two would be super engaging to see. And it can have interesting choreography with them playing mind games with each other, which is way more appropriate for both. No hate to anyone who likes Springtrap VS Bendy, but the idea of Springtrap fighting like he's any other generic horror monster is just not appealing to me. Plus hey, if you composite Springtrap and include Junktrap and Glitchtrap, then you at least have a fun sense of escalation to the battle.

Yep, Castlevania Judgement is more or less stated to be canon by the series creator... and it's the worst thing ever. For some reason the devs decided to just casually imply that the throwaway boss of that game is multiversal, so now instead of scaling off of stuff from their own games for their peak power like they should, all the characters are scaled to the worst game in the series and it ruins a lot of good matchups.

My go-to example is Banjo-Kazooie vs Yooka-Laylee; YL was designed to be as close as possible to BK because the intent was to make the spiritual third game in the series. Alucard's redesign for SotN was basically intended to be a playable version of D, and the end result is just too similar to the source for me to like it.

Wally is absolutely faster than game sonic, he routinely blitzes immeasurable characters and can just negate or steal other characters' speed. Sonic's immeasurable feats are very rare and often a little weird in their wording anyway. Let's not get crazy.
