The beautiful continent of Asia has 50 countries, and I have visited 49 of them (only missing Saudi Arabia!). In fact, I have spent 80% of my time on the Asian continent since 2012, living in Korea, Vietnam, Thailand, Philippines and extensively traveling around to other nations.
In this video, I randomly draw Asian countries from a hat and provide you with my best travel tips, advice and memories from each one. This video is 100% spontaneous -- meaning that no ideas/scripts were pre-planned. It feels good to freely speak my mind, and I hope that you learn a thing or two from watching this video!
I spent 3 days editing this one (mostly going through my old hardrives), so if you enjoyed, it would mean the world to me if you shared it with your friends! I think we could all use a little travel inspiration these days while we're stuck at home...

There are a few countries he has said he doesn't like. The 2 that come to mind are Chad & Brunei. Chad, he said, was just corrupt & hostile. Brunei, he said, was very unfriendly. That said, he has awesome things to say about a lot of Muslim countries - for instance, he raves on & on about the friendliness of the people in Iran.

Nepal has a very unique flag. The cities on Honshu in Japan are great but Hokkaido is underrated and truly a hidden gem. Go during the winter for the Sapporo Snow Festival. And Abashiri has a prison museum where you can see how someone escaped using miso soup

I’m from the “Borneo side” of Malaysia, from Sarawak ☺️ if you love nature, then you’ll absolutely love it here. If you travel deeper into the countryside, you’ll get to meet the traditional Dayak (indigenous people) and our unique lifestyle. And the cities are very quiet too. Calm and peaceful ☺️. If you’re into quiet places, but still prefer cities, then this is a perfect place. The people here are all chill and friendly 😊. Do visit here Drew!

When you go to China, I really recommend going to Lijiang and Shangri-La, and make sure to take hikes on the huge mountains in the west.
